If you’ve only got 4 hours in Malta, we promise to make them the best 4 hours possible. That’s because you can choose what you really want to see, taste, experience, learn and discover - this tour’s content is entirely up to you.
Do you want to explore Valletta, the capital city, or the labyrinth-style streets of the ancient silent city Mdina? Alternatively, you might want to take in the sights, sounds and smells of Marsaxlokk, a traditional fishing village. Perhaps you prefer history and would like to visit Malta’s jaw-dropping ancient temples. For sun worshipers we can take you on a 25-minute tour of the sea caves at Blue Grotto, or a walk along Golden Bay, the backdrop used for the blockbuster film Troy. If you’re into films, a visit to Popeye Village is a must. We’d love to take you to see everything but due to time constraints it’s better to contact us when you're booking and we’ll make a few recommendations based on your interests.

This is a flexible tour. You can discuss your preferred sites to see at the time of placing your booking and we will work on your personalised tour itinerary. You can also advise us of an alternative preferred start time. These are a few of the sites you might want to consider: • Pick up times for a half day tour are 8.30/9.00am or 1.30/2.00pm. • Discover the stunning World UNESCO Heritage Site, Valletta, Malta’s capital city that was home to the Knights of St John. • Take in the sights, sounds and smells of Marsaxlokk, the charming traditional fishing village in the south of the island. • Enjoy a scenic 25-minute boat ride along the sea caves at Blue Grotto. • If you thought Stonehenge or the Pyramids were the only super-old man-made constructions in the world, wait until you check out the ancient temples at Hagar Qim - even Indiana Jones would be impressed by this historic site! • Why not opt for a quick walk along Dingli Cliffs, one of the highest points of the island, with gorgeous views of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea. • Enjoy a guided tour through the medieval streets of Mdina, the Silent City, with breath-taking views of Malta and where you can appreciate the country’s tiny size. • If you love films we can take you to Golden Bay, the location of the blockbuster film ‘Troy’ or even to watch the animators bring the location of the ‘Popeye’ film, starring the late Robin Williams, back to life! • If you’re into art and churches with beautiful architecture, the Mosta Dome is also worth visiting. The choice, quite simply, is yours to make. This tour is approximately four hours long. Entrance fees to attractions, lunch and any souvenirs you wish to purchase are not included. This tour requires moderate walking, but it is wheelchair friendly.

5.00Unfortunately I can't remember the name of our driver or tour guide, but both were AMAZING! Driver was super professional, kind and safe. Malta received an unusual rain storm during our return to the cruise ship and our driver did everything in his power to get us as close to the ship as possible. As for our guide, she was fantastic. Very informative, well spoken, kind and patient with our group that tends to wonder into shops and bars when walking around as a group. Would recommend this tour over and over again. Malta is beautiful! Thank you.

5.00Malta is a special place for our trip, as some of friends spent several years there as children. We wanted to revisit places that were important from their past, as well as more famous sites such as the Blue Grotto, the ancient fortress at Medina, and Valletta. Albert, our guide, was full of helpful information and advice, and even helped one of our group members find a replacement phone for the one she had lost in Athens. He was waiting for us at the disembarkation point, and walked us all the way back to the ship when it came time to leave. All of his tips for enjoying the trip turned out to be exactly what we needed.

5.00There were 3 couples in our group. We had a fabulous time with our tour guide, Julia. Julia learned at the last minute that our scheduled guide had a family emergency. She graciously changed her plans and met us. She could not have shown us a better tour. She was very knowledgeable about the history and locations. Julia and her boss went above and beyond to make up for our wait, by buying us drinks and a local dish called a pastizz. They were delicious! Malta is a fascinating country with rich history and culture. I highly recommend Malta and Julia! We hope to return.

5.00Our tour guide, Charmaine, was fantastic. She knew so much about the history and culture and was so accommodating to any requests or questions. Half of our group wanted a full tour and the other half wanted to spend some time at the beach. Charmaine made both groups experiences memorable. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip.

5.00We walked through the ancient city of Medina and learned about its history. After that we drove to the cliffs and had a beautiful view. Then we drove into Valletta and learned more about the Great Siege as well as the siege during WWII. Our last stop was at St. Elmo’s fortress. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the tour interesting for all of us.

5.00Our guide Alfred and driver Allen were spectacular. Alfred was amazingly knowledgeable about any subject we could quiz him on about Malta's history, geography, or just about anything we could throw at him. These two made our time of Malta one of the highlights of our trip. Our highest recommendation!

5.00Our family loved this private tour. You can customize it but we wanted to see the west part of the island (temples) and M'dina. It was perfect. The guide was extremely knowleadgeable and the driver very nice and helpful. This is a great way to see the most of the island if you only have limited time. I would highly recommend it, especially for families.
