Choose this tour because the maximum number of people per group was 24, and we wanted no party boat. So this one was in the middle of the flash! The two guys who were in charge of the boat really knew what they were driving with as they navigated us around cliffs and into caves. We got absolutely seen all of the sights and with an hour's stop in The Blue lagoon it was also swimming! We chose to stay and swim from the boat, because already in May there was a lot of people on land. This was also the first place on the tour you can buy food and drinks so recommend to bring some form of food / snack.

The trip was very good, but it was an advantage that we were a small group on the boat. Only a small part of the boat was without roof and therefore had sunshine. Crystal lagoon was undoubtedly the highlight. Blue lagoon is crowded with people, but was nice to swim from the boat rather than going on land. Santa Maria Bay faded relative to the two above. Due to a lot of sea, we did not get dragged by all the places we were going to. The trip, however, is strongly recommended.

It was beautiful, but boat operators provided little commentary about what we were looking at or should look for-that was disappointing.

Did this excursion in June 2025, was so disappointed. A bit of chaos to get on the boat, but that was sorted quite quickly. We first went to Gozo, and a bus picks you up from the port to take you to the small town, which is quite pretty. Think we had about 90 minutes there, which was actually enough, as there was not much to do apart from tourist shops and stopping for a coffee. We were so excited to be going to the Blue Lagoon for a swim in the sea. Such a disappointment, where our boat stopped to allow us to disembank onto dry land, was a rocky cliff area and quite dangerous to climb up. People trying to go in both directions in a very narrow area, nearly fell off the cliff twice whilst climbing, so came back down and swam by the boat, which was the best part of the day. I am glad I did it, even if only to know I wouldn't do it again.

The boat crew were kind and discrete. The experience of visiting the lagoons with a 1,000 other people, is something I would never do again. Although some nice photos were made along the way.
The boat was good. The crew were ok. Not a great deal of commentary. Stopped a few times for swimmers and island sightseeing. G

10/10 highly recommend!! The smaller boat excursion was definitely the way to go because you’re able to get up close to the caves and see more than just the Blue Lagoon. Unfortunately the swell was too big so we couldn’t go into the Santa Maria caves but we still got up close for some great shots!! Our guide was great and very entertaining!! We made three stops, Crystal Lagoon, Blue Lagoon and Santa Maria Bay.

We went on the 9am trip the boat went on time the boat was full with about 25 people on board. We went to a few caves had a tour around Gozo harbour. We really enjoyed it & though it was good value for money.
Great experience, with a caveat.

This is a great option if you're looking for a lower key way to see the beutiful sights of Comino and Blue Lagoon. The drivers are very friendly and not too talkative or demanding of your attention, which is how I prefer it. I was however a bit disappointed with not being able to stop an explore Gozo a bit. It's not clear in the description that you just sail by it. And two cool activities offered on this jounrney are also not spelled out in the description. One is cliff jumping in the Crystal Lagoon, which the more adventorous in our group availed themselves of. The second is snorkelling. You can rent snorkelling gear for €5, which I was happy to do. Overall, this is a great value for the money. Being able to sail into the caves was a definite highlight. Stopping in Santa Marija was also a treat. I recmommend it, especially for these who are in Malta for a short stay. Thanks!

It all worked out well, only the visit to the Blue Lagoon was a bit clouded by the crowds. Seeing a little more of Gozo would also be nice. All in all, the excursion was as described and you saw the impressive lagoons and rock formations as well as a lap through the port of Gozo.

10/10 highly recommend!! The smaller boat excursion was definitely the way to go because you’re able to get up close to the caves and see more than just the Blue Lagoon. Unfortunately the swell was too big so we couldn’t go into the Santa Maria caves but we still got up close for some great shots!! Our guide was great and very entertaining!!
