Adaptive ski lessons with Camille - a big hit for our autistic son

5.00We visited Verbier in April with our two sons who are 13 and 17. Our youngest son is autistic and visually impaired and we booked two half day private lessons with Camille, who has done a course in adaptive skiing. We were a bit nervous about how our son would manage but we needn't have worried. Camille was brilliant with him, very patient and calm. He had a good understanding of SEND including our son's dyspraxia and used the cords to help him ski and even managed to get him on the chair lift (which our son called the 'flying sofa') on the second morning. We were really impressed with Camille and would definitely recommend him. My eldest son and I also had two morning lessons with Yob who was brilliant and helped me get my confidence and skills back up after a 30 year hiatus from skiing. We would also recommend him as a kind and fun instructor.

5.00I just wanted to share our amazing experience. My three-year-old daughter attended ski school with you, and it was truly incredible. From day one, she felt safe, happy, and excited to learn. The environment was so positive, and everything was perfectly adapted for young children. A very special thank you to Camille — he was absolutely amazing. So kind, patient, and encouraging. My daughter had him as her instructor the whole time, and she absolutely loved him. Every day she was so excited to go back and see him again. It’s incredible to see how much confidence and joy she gained in such a short time. Thank you so much — we’ll definitely be back!

5.00My son is 5 and has had ski lessons with Kate for the past 3 years. She is absolutely the best instructor and we are so grateful!! My son is so enthusiastic heading off with her each morning. Kate brings everything from balloons to bubbles to make teaching the best experience and he loves every minute. She manages to improve his technique incredibly in just a week of half day lessons and I have full confidence and trust in her keeping him happy and safe every day! We love Kate so much! She’s the best teacher and best human too! Thank you xxx

5.00Had two lessons with Hanes (JT). I have always skied and was sceptical I needed a lesson but it made a HUGE difference. Super supportive, pushed me the right amount and improved my skiing a lot!

5.00We visited Verbier with family and friends and had a fantastic time. Gillian, our instructor for my children aged seven and nine, was fun, attentive and always provided fantastic tips in a playful way. It was a tricky week for skiing but Gill prioritised safety and was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. We highly recommend Gill; she’s wonderful.

5.00My wife and I had some excellent lessons with Cordelia. We are intermediate skiers and she pushed us to level up our skills while still making it fun. She was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and technical, and incredibly patient with our many questions. She gave us guidance as to where to ski to challenge ourselves without losing newly formed skills, and guided us through difficult terrain when requested, helping us build our confidence even further. We look forward to more lessons on a future trip!
