Your guide will wait for the clients at the agreed time at the CAMP Kitchen & Bar. After meet & greet Bliss' guide will equip the clients with the relevant gear at the near-by Bliss' premises. Then the clients will get guided to the climbing venue, Tajukangas, a 10 minute walk from Hotel Pyhätunturi. At Tajukangas there will a bonfire, hot berry juice and the necessary set up for climbing, for example ready set climbing ropes. The climbing instructor will tell clearly about the safety factors, and then take one client at a time to climb safely on top rope, belaying the climber and advising her/him on climbing techniques. Between the climbs it is time to relax together by the warmth of the fire, enjoy nutritious yet light meal and listen the stories about Arctic nature and such. Suitable for beginners who are eager to climb a lot, and for those who already have some experience and wish to push their skills and knowledge to the next level. The instructor takes the clients beyond a simple trial into the world of ice climbing, with an introduction to different climbing techniques and a possibility for several ascents per client, depending on each person’s strength and stamina.

5.00It was absolutely amazing! The first half we were with a larger group and the rest of the day we were with jonathan. We learned how to do it in an efficient way and also alot about finland. The staff was super kind and addapted to your wishes for going down but definitely tried to get you to the top. We had a really good experience and will definitely do it again some day

5.00Incredible experience. We are so happy we did the premium ice climb with Reidar. He was a great teacher, giving me confidence where I didn’t have much but also making the experience feel so safe. We felt we had time to really learn and have several climbs to improve. It was incredibly fun. The other staff were also really lovely and knowledgeable but I definitely recommend the premium ice climb as you can really hone in and get advice on how to improve. I’m actually itching to go back. 10/10 experience. Thank you Reidar!

5.00We did the premium iceclimb and it was great! Redar was very professional and also good company, he made the day even more enjoyable. We were really glad we booked the premium climb, as when the larger group had left, it was only myself, my girlfriend, and Redar, so we could choose any route up that we wanted to climb, and had much more time to rest between climbs, have berry juice, a pie, etc. I would thoroughly recommend this experience!

5.00Guides were friendly and gave positive reinforcement as I made my way to the top. This was my first ever ice climbing experience and I was nervous about it, but the guides were reassuring and helped me set up the harnesses and I felt safe the entire time. Took me forever to get to the top, but the guides were really patient with me.

5.00I booked this having previously climbed in Iceland and Finland and it was a great half day. My instructor, Joonatan, was amazing, he offered really good tuition covering technical aspects that helped me to progress my climbing. It was the perfect safe learning environment to develop what I had learnt previously. I got in lots of climbing with there being 4 different routes, all with their own differing aspects to challenge you and make you think. I would recommend this to anyone who has previously done ice climbing but also to those who have never done it before but want more time on the ice to learn more than just the basics. Next time I’ll definitely be progressing out to the more technical stuff that Bliss Adventures do out near Posio with this having given me the confidence to do more and push myself more.

5.00Excellent experience with this group. Radar was a terrific guide. He is knowledgeable, fun and interesting. The little pies were yummy and felt very authentic. Highly recommend this!

5.00We had a very fun and attentive guide, Inessa. We both had never tried ice climbing before but she was a great teacher. The campfire and hot berry juice was a nice addition. It is a good workout - your arms and legs will be tired!

5.00The adventure was amazing!! We booked the 4 hour ice climbing trip and had enough time to climb the wall 3 times each and also eat next to the fire. Our guide Inessa was competent, friendly, helpful and funny. All in all a great time!!
