Petra Visitors Center

At the beginning we will meet at visitor center, the traveler will go through the mountains till reach a place called (Qararah Park), its a marvelous high land with magnificent view of Petra mountains. we will continue our trail in (Dabdabah Road ) to reach the Petre Bubble Luxel Resort, then we will discover many places in Little Petra such as caves, and old villages, the traveler will have a rich overview about the ancient life at the little Petra. Little Petra is Peaceful place where the spirits merge with the nature, so our traveler will have a unique experience filled with meditate and imagines. the traveler will have a great opportunity when he go through (ASIQ ALBARED) which lead to an old temples and graves inside a hidden canyon. We will rest at Little Petra for a while before continue our trail to other amazing historical places , the traveler can capture photos to many places inside Little Petra. and we should note that all this part of our journey is on horse riding.

Monastery (Al Dayr)

After finishing our tour inside the Little Petra, we will heading to the most gorgeous place inside the old City. AL Dayr or the Monastery, is a massive rock-carved structure in the ancient Jordanian city of Petra. It was second of the two structures converted in to churches during the Byzantine era. Just 800 steps up, visitors will reach the largest façade in Petra, Monastery has more beauty and mystery to reveal yet. After walking up the rock-cut stairs for around 45 minutes, visitors arrive in front of one of the world's largest and oldest monuments. Over 2000 years ago, a 58-meter-wide monastery was carved into a sandstone mountain. When the traveler reaches Al Dayr, he can see the most dazzling panoramic view of the west bank, including amazing views of the Palestine mountains and Wadi Araba canyons. It is a unique experience that one can have.

Amazing hike after horse tour

Had an amazing experience riding the horse with my guide (Mohammad). He picked me up at my hotel and together we went to Little petra and had a delicious lunch together. After the tour I took the shuttle to the drop off for a hike to the Monastery with stunning views in and almost no tourists. Definitely recommend this tour!

I had a wonderful experience on this tour of the archaeological site of Petra. The guide was extremely kind and very respectful at all times, something I truly appreciate, especially when traveling alone. His horses are adorable, calm, and clearly well cared for, which made the tour even more special and safe. I 100% recommend this tour to any woman traveling alone who wants to feel comfortable and respected. An unforgettable experience! Ps. Ladies ask for his shoulder is part of the package 😉

The BEST way to see Petra is with Mohammad and this tour! Fantastic views, healthy snacks, and VIP treatment with beautiful horses. This is a must! Wear comfortable shoes as you will literally be walking up and down the rock mountains. This is truly the best experience. Thank you Mohammad for memories that will last a lifetime!

This tour was absolutely incredible and the BEST way to see Petra! Wear comfortable walking shoes as you will literally be walking up and down the rock mountains. The views are breathtaking, and our guide Mohammad (amazing!!) makes frequent stops to take beautiful pictures. He also provides a healthy snack with tea. Thank you SO much Mohammad for memories that will last a lifetime!!! ❤️

Great tour! Great communication prior to, during, and after the tour. Mohammad is a great horseman and made sure that we were safe and comfortable. The horses were well cared for and well behaved. We did this tour the day after we visited Petra and it was a great way to see Petra from a different angle. It is also a great way to enter the park and to finish your walking tour after the horse ride. Highly recommended!!

What a fun excursion THAT was! We took the Indiana Jones Adventure Tour and it was great! What I liked so much was that we saw the valley from above. All the canyon and beyond- something I could never hike up to see! (I am 72). I had a blast. Thank you!
Ride to the sacrificial site of Petra

The horse riding tour with Mohammed led from the entrance to the Siq over the rocks to near the sacrificial site. There were no other people on the hidden route except Mohammed, the horses and me. We stopped at a Bedouin hut and at a lookout point. There we were able to see the Petra treasury from above, enjoy the peace and beauty of nature and Mohammed even spotted a blue lizard. His horse Angela is simply wonderful. Mohammed himself is an excellent guide, riding instructor and an interesting, friendly conversationalist. The horse riding tour is a very special experience that I can highly recommend.
