The Pyramids Of Giza

Meet your personal guide in your hotel lobby at 8:00 am for the short drive out of Cairo to the desert at Giza, part of the legendary Sahara Desert. Here you'll admire the three mighty pyramids silhouetted against the sand, beginning with the Great Pyramid, built by the pharaoh Khufu over 3,500 years ago. Your guide will explain the stories behind this and the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, including how they were constructed and how they looked in ancient times, and take you out into the desert for photo opportunities. Next, you'll descend to admire the Sphinx, the giant half-human, half-lion monument that's an icon of Egypt. Finally, you'll explore an Ancient Egyptian temple, the Valley Temple, most likely built by Khafre, in the days when the River Nile flowed past Giza and this desert gorge was fertile valley. You'll drive back to your hotel

My 13 year old daughter and I (female) were met by our guide Amir and driver in the morning for a pick up at the hotel. It was an amazing tour which included all the highlights of pyramid's and the Sphinx. On the spot, we decided to go for a camel ride for a fixed fee of 1000 egp which was exciting. On top of the highlights and the camel ride, we were so lucky with our guide Amir who was kind, trustworthy, helpful and very knowledgeable. Overall, an amazing experience.

Only one word can descripe the time that we had in Egypt, it was phenomenal Our guide Sam and driver Salah were very hlepful, and they treated us as kings I really appreciate what the did with us

The tour was outstanding, once you book, salah contacted me and gave me all the info for the tour, On the second day we met sam on time, the car was clean, sam was very informative, helpful and we felt like he is one of our family. Book with mummies tours, highly recommended!!!!

We only had a short window in which to get in a tour of the Pyramids. We loved that we could choose our start time for the day, giving us plenty of flexibility to meet our other commitments. Our guide, Sam, did a great job capturing all of the fun pictures (holding the pyramid, leaning against it, kissing the Sphinx, etc.) for us to have as memories. Although not originally part of our itinerary, we were able to stop at a papyrus store to learn how the artwork is made.

We had such an amazing time! The tickets were sent to us so we could access them on our phone, and our Guide (Sam) was amazing!! We've done a lot of small/ private tours, and he was beyond wonderful. The information he shared was relevant, helpful, and very informative. If you are questioning about who to have with you during your stay, you will be 100% satisfied!

One of the best days of my life! I had a private tour with just me (solo) with Sayed as my guide and Salah as my driver. Both were extremely kind and helpful. Sayed knows the answer to just about any question you ask him! I was able to learn everything I wanted to know about the pyramids and Egypt in general, take a camel ride, and get some spectacular photos! Sayed seemed to know everyone at the ticket desks, security, and even the restaurants we went to and Salah was always on standby with the air conditioned car when we were done. It feels like you’re getting the completely deluxe presidential treatment in Egypt. Don’t hesitate to get a guide to Egypt. Everyone I know who went here (including my father many years ago) gets one. Make your trip to Egypt a memorable one! I was so happy with the tour, I got them for two additional days. One day we went to the Egyptian Museum, NMEC, and Hanging Church. The other day we went to Al-Azhar Park, Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and Al-Azhar Mosque, and Khan el-Khalili (the famous market). Both were extremely nice, time efficient, and extremely memorable. If you’re happy with the trip to Giza, make sure to ask about hiring them for additional days. You won’t regret it!
