This rafting adventure lasts 3 to 4 hours, covering 11 km of the Zambezi River with challenging class 4 to 5 rapids.
Participants will navigate rapids in the Batoka Gorge, surrounded by cliffs and lush greenery. Certified guides ensure safety and provide insights about the river’s history and ecosystem.
The experience requires teamwork and offers both physical engagement and camaraderie. Safety is prioritized with proper gear and trained guides for emergency procedures.

Enjoy one of the wildest, finest and number one rated rivers in the world for white water rafting. The Zambezi River is comprised of 25 class V and IV rapids in the Batoka Gorge. You will be conquering all of these rapids on this day tour. Paddle from rapid 1-21, approx. 6 hours rafting and lunch by the river. Conquer a series of Class 3-5 rapids which include Stairway to Heaven, The Overland Truck Eater and the Washing Machine, among many others

Half Day White Water Rafting
Low water Rapid 10-21: Raft from rapid number 11-21. It is available during the low water season usually from July-Dec based on the water levels.This is a calmer section with mostly class 3 rapids.

5.00Just back from the half day rafting and wow! what an experience. Andrew, Abraham and the team did an amazing job. The experience ended up being a private one as we were the only 2 on the day and to say I was nervous beforehand would be an understatement but the team did a fantastic job of putting us at ease. To have photos and lunch included, was a huge plus too. Thank you for such a fantastic last day of our holiday!! Things to know ahead of the trip... - The experience starts from Zambia so if, like us, you are staying on the Zimbabwe side you need to take your passports and go through immigration. - The walk down to the gorge was steep, but had steps. The walk back up was a slightly different experience, it was steep with uneven footing but still doable. Definitely need a good pair of shoes to do both ways. - At the lodge stop, where you have lunch afterwards, there are no toilet facilities and so no ability to easily get changed. This meant that the travel back, which is quite a long trip, can get a little bit chilly (it was beginning of March) as we were still in our wet clothes. Just sharing as useful information and in no way did any of it detract from a fantastic experience!!!

5.00Such a good day from start to finish. Honestly, if you are in the area you need to give this a go. The guides were expert rafters and fantastic people, the scenery speaks for itself and the rafting was a pure adrenaline rush (but felt safe at the same time) Transport to and from was easy, just make sure you bring dollars for your visa if needed (country dependent) Epic experience and Ericado, Abram and the team are second to none

5.00We had an absolutely amazing experience with Maano Rafting Adventures! A huge thank you to Emmanuel, Agri, Abram, and Sed for making the day so memorable. The team was incredibly professional and well-organised, and we felt completely safe the entire time — while still getting a proper dose of adventure and adrenaline. Everything was handled with care and expertise, and the extra touches really stood out. We got water, cool drinks, and a light lunch afterwards which was so appreciated and the perfect way to end the experience. Highly recommend Maano Rafting Adventures if you’re looking for a fun, thrilling, and well-run rafting experience with an outstanding crew!

5.00We had an adreline-filled, amazing advendure on the Zambezi river!. Tour starts just below Victoria Falls and winds through the beautiful gorge below. The hike down tot he starting point and the hike out at the end definitly requires someone to be in moderate shape and there are plenty of class 5 rapids, but if you have rafted before and enjoy adventure sports then this is for you! Our Guide Enoch was wonderful and kept us safe at all times. Definely a highlight of our trip to Africa!

Fabulous fun. Really friendly experienced crew. Big rapids 😁 Highly recommend.

5.00Wow! This trip was amazing. The crew were simply amazing! Two guys in separate Kayaks were always around in case you got into difficulty. Our fitting of life jackets was thoroughly checked. Each rapid was explained clearly before we hit it. Really friendly crew, well organised, great fun, very safe but not skipping out on the excitement! We were picked up at our hotel (Victoria falls) and we were passed to another driver when we got to the border as it’s on the Zambia side but your Kaza visa let’s you over for free. We were very well looked after.

5.00We had an amazing time. We got lucky and got paired up with Enoch and his team, and they were all very attentive, caring, energetic, and fun. As Puerto Ricans, we have a lot of energy and are very loud and they matched our energy. They explained everything with details and they provided information before we did a run. They made sure that we were always safe with our equipment or if anybody went over. We also went down with another team, which made it even more fun because we got to see them do the runs and get a different perspective. The whole team is amazing and beyond helpful. I was struggling with the steps at the end and they took my vest and my helmet to make it better for me. Once I made it to the top, they were very energetic and very encouraging throughout. 100% recommend this is definitely a must. We also got to spend time with the other boat and they had Alex as their captain who also did an amazing job and had amazing energy. If you are an adrenaline junkie like us, this will not disappoint!!

5.00We had an AMAZING time! It was a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend! Andrew was our Captain and guide and he was very knowledgeable and professional and helped us feel safe and comfortable. Him and his team were so awesome, they worked so hard taking care of us and we appreciate it so much! We had so much fun and we are so grateful to Andrew and his team!!!
