Your adventure begins with pick up directly from your hotel in downtown Halifax before heading out toward Peggy’s Cove.
Along the way, your guide will share fun facts and tips about the area. Once you arrive at Peggy’s Cove, you’ll have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse).
After your visit to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will bring you back to Halifax to visit historic Citadel Hill.
Following your visit to Citadel Hill, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of downtown Halifax where you will pass by some of the city’s most notable points of interest including: the Titanic cemetery (Fairview Lawn Cemetery), City Gardens, Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market and Point Pleasant Park.
At the end of your Halifax tour, your guide will drop you back off at your hotel.

Peggy's Cove Lighthouse
Your adventurous day begins with a scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove. Located just under an hour’s drive away from Halifax, Peggy’s Cove is a picturesque fishing village with plenty to see and do. While driving up to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will point out notable sights, landmark, and scenic views. Upon arrival at Peggy’s Cove you will be given plenty of free time in which you can explore the area around the historical lighthouse, stroll along the ocean looking for tidal pools, head into the village to watch the fishermen come and go, or go shopping in one of the small boutiques and shops.
Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
you will stop at Citadel Hill where a living historical guide will be waiting to take you on an amazing tour. Throughout the tour you will explore prison cells and alleyways that date back to 1745. At the end of the tour you will watch the daily noon cannon fire.

4.00Our guide was Mo. We experienced our tour in a small group, very personalized. The smaller group size made it wonderful for asking questions and getting in and out of highly traveled tourist sites. Mo was so knowledgeable and interesting. Would definitely recommend. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was I thought that meet up could be communicated a little bit better about where the meeting point should be. Ie: at the picnic table, or at the square center of park.

4.00James, our tour guide, was punctual and even called just before arriving to confirm our meeting spot, which we appreciated. He was knowledgeable about Halifax and shared interesting information with enthusiasm throughout the day. However, his driving left a lot to be desired. He frequently had to look at his phone for directions, which made us a bit uneasy and suggested he wasn’t entirely familiar with the routes to our destinations. Overall, while James was friendly and well-informed, the experience would have been more enjoyable and relaxing with more confident navigation and smoother driving.

1.00Worst tour ever told afterwards by commissioner at pier that this company is unlicensed and does not have commercial insurance and are banned from the cruise terminal buyer beware

4.00We booked the Peggy"s Cove, Titanic cemetery and Citadel Hill tour. Our guide, Brittany, was fun, enthusiastic and entertaining. It would have been nice to have more time at work Peggys Cove and the citadel, but otherwise a very enjoyable half day.

4.00Tour was by SUV with 3 couples. It was an okay tour, and the guide did an ok job with facts. We got to all points listed in the description. Too little time in Peggy's Cove. The pickup location was confusing. It is out of the port area in a park across from a Westin. Not far, but even the info booth in Port had no idea of pick up point.

4.00If traveling by cruise ship, remember to check arrival times as well as ship’s departure times. This was a small group(4people) , so it was more more personalized. We were able to see many things on this tour

5.00Outstanding tour. Fantastic guide and comfortable van/bus. Johnathan/Bill was amazing and a good source of education and history. The Park was exceptional-flowers were gorgeous! The Titanic cemetery was sobering to say the least but Johnathan gave a fantastic narrative. The experience at Peggy’s Cove was about 20 minutes too short, mainly because we enjoyed the park and gardens too much! Food was fantastic at Shaws for a cold Tall Ship and a lobster roll!

2.00Don't trust the website for pickup. We don't always check our email on vacation. Sat out for over 30 minutes and no show shuttle or car . Lucky a lady told that the company was bad to come into the port . She told were to meet at park. Very poor communication..I booked late and asked to put my wife's booking together. No we were in different cars. I would not recommend this company to my best enemy.
