During this 40-minute flight over the Hana Rainforest with exclusive landing within the Wailua Valley, see popular points of interest such as the Road to Hana as well as Jurassic Rock. The highlight of this experience will be the landing at a former taro plantation where you'll be given time to explore the natural landscape!

Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 275 lbs (124 kg or 19.6 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat; this is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour

The total weight of the helicopter cannot exceed 1,140 lbs (518 kg)

There is a maximum capacity of 7 people per helicopter, plus your pilot

Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.

Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended for anyone landing as the ground can be uneven and wet.

As you fly along Maui’s North Coast, you'll enjoy views of breathtaking sea cliffs and cascading waterfalls on your 40-minute round-trip helicopter flight. Your pilot will point out popular points of interest from above such as Paia, Hookipa, Haiku and the famous surf destination – JAWS. You'll also see the 'Road to Hana' and the iconic Jurassic Rock before your exclusive landing destination deep in the Hawaiian rainforest.

The pilot was very capable and cordial. We had to fly an alternate route due to weather conditions and I felt like they took good care of us.

Wear shoes and clothing able to get damp as the landing mid way is likely to be wet. Spectacular, professional skilled pilots, wondrous tour. Beautiful, ethereal. Only do this is you love riding in a helicopter- if you do, it’s a blast. Six to helicopter. Very educational at the landing break, plus Mimosas!

It was a great experience. Should plan on wearing tennis shoes as it can be slippery in the rain forest. Beautiful scenery you can't see any other way. Ethan was a great pilot! I would definitely do it again! It was a great place to get proposed too. Will always remember the experience!

Ethan was an amazing pilot and tour guide, he pointed out and toured the best locations so that we all got amazing views and pictures. He pointed out the whales and hovered over them so we can all have an unforgettable experience. I got a little motion sickness, but I highly recommend “ do not eat anything before the ride if you know you get queasy! “ I dry heaved, but nothing serious. Still highly enjoyable. lol

Our experience with Maverick Helicopters was world-class from start to finish. Our pilot and guide, Josh, was fantastic—incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The views of the coastline, hidden waterfalls, and the rainforest were breathtaking, and seeing the winding Road to Hana from above is a perspective I’ll never forget. Highly recommend Josh and the whole Maverick team for anyone visiting Maui!

An amazing time! We rotated with our fellow passengers and had both “front” and “rear” seats. If you get the opportunity to sit front row, PLEASE DO. Our pilot, John, had great info and was very communicative on everything!! We had a great time and it was a fantastic surprise for my husband’s birthday!!
