Our Hanoi Vespa Food Tour begins with a stop at a family-owned eatery that is widely considered the best place to enjoy steam rolled Banh Cuon in the city. Next, we’ll visit a restaurant that has been serving traditional Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles) and an assortment of other local delicacies such as Banh Goi (pillow cake), fresh/fried spring rolls, and local doughnuts for over 45 years.

Old Quarter

During the second stage of our Hanoi Vespa Food Tour, we’ll navigate through the bustling streets of the old quarter, where vendors peddle vibrant lanterns and decorative lights. Next, we’ll head towards the Red River, where we can marvel at the captivating views of Hanoi’s illuminated cityscape from both sides of the river. In the third leg of our Hanoi Vespa Food Tour, we’ll cruise through the narrow streets and make our way to Ngu Xa Village to sample various versions of Pho and other local delicacies. Afterward, we’ll stop at a nearby BBQ seafood eatery, where we can indulge in a freshly caught and cooked seafood feast. Our expert team will then take us on a ride to West Lake, where we’ll capture some stunning nighttime photos and witness the ceremonious flag lowering at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This daily event highlights the immense respect that the locals have for their revered leader.

Kai was an incredible guide! He was knowledgeable, kind, and a great photographer. The food was awesome and they take you to the famous restaurant that Anthony Bourdain and Obama ate at! One of the highlights of my Vietnam trip so far. Kai really made it awesome!

Incredible. Would recommend 100%, the ladies were knowledgeable and awesome. Great experience in Hanoi, got to try lots of local foods and scoot around and hear some history.

We had just arrived in Hanoi that day, and this experience was the best way to get oriented to the city and the food scene. Seeing the city at night on the back of a motorbike was the way to go. Our guides, Su and An, were amazing. They were skilled drivers, professional but also fun to be with, taking as much time as we wanted at each stop to eat and talk. Rain did not stop the tour, and ponchos were provided to keep going. The tour included five different stops, including eating Bun Cha and Obama Noodles. We called the tour after three stops since we were so full, so bring an appetite if you want to do all five. A real bargain for the price.

We only had a few hours in the morning before leaving for the airport and it was a perfect way to spend 2.5 hrs to get a taste of the city. The leader Su was very knowledgable and friendly and she, Thomas and Mamh were excellent drivers in a manically busy place where traffic regulations seem to be non existent! We never felt unsafe and we had lots of opportunities to take photos with 5 stops including time for their famous egg coffee at the end. 3 of us did the tour and we all would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for the great memories.

Great trip booked at very short notice. Visited sites you would not see from the usual bus. Su, Thomas and Mamh were a great team and took us to Aves you would never see.

Thomas and Bein were both excellent hosts and thankfully very skilled Vespa riders - felt safe the whole time and what an experience going through the streets and alleyways with a good lot of information - very enjoyable!

We had an amazing time with Anh and An Such nice fun and knowledge guides with an excellent skills in motorcycle driving . Felt safe and comfortable . The attractions were very exciting . They recounted the history behind every stop where the B52 bomber in the lake .and what they called their little garden . We got to meet a Vietnamese war veteran too who had a picture of him sitting by the lake side . The railway train and the French quarters and of course the old quarters . The choice of restaurants and meals were very good too . It is for sure an forgettable experience Thank you ladies on motor bikes 👏👏

This was a fabulous trip and enabled us to see Hanoi in a unique and different way. Starting late afternoon, we took in the transition from day to night, rush hour traffic and the sights. Seeing great landmarks and also visiting someone’s home, for green tea, overlooking the B52 lake. Excellent food and local knowledge. Our guide, Thomas was excellent. Brilliant drivers and great mix of activities including the iconic train street. Must do! Excellent value for money.
