Long Bien Bridge
We'll start by crossing the Red River via Long Bien Bridge, the oldest bridge in Hanoi constructed over 100 years ago during the French colonial era. From here, you can take in the panoramic view of the Red River, watch the boats floating underneath, and observe the green vegetable farms on the nearby island.

5.00This is our first time visiting Hanoi. We didn’t have a lot of days so wanted to pack in as much as possible. We booked the Vespa tour for a chance to discover Hanoi and learn about the life of its local people. We had a great time with our friendly, polite and accommodating tour guide Summi and her team. Riding the vintage Vespa was a plus. Those Vespas had customized raised backrest, which added safety. Summi and her team took us through Hanoi’s landmarks, the history behind those landmarks, plus visiting two local families in the suburbs of Hanoi. My highlight was the chance to visit Mr Ngo’s family which has been living in the area over 18 generations. A section of his house was/is well-maintained over 200 years with many antique, family tree with luminating stories from the era of the last king of Vietnam, vua Bao Dai.

5.00Shang was an amazing host. We ate at a local restaurant where the food was fabulous. The ride and places to visit were great. Shang was very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend.

5.00This was my second time doing the Vespa countryside tour, and needless to say, it is always such a lovely experience. Thank you to Shang and the others was safely driving us, taking so much care to share their knowledge and experiences , and engaging in the mostly lively conversations. It’s these little bits that makes travel experiences worth it :)

5.00On the final day of our trip, we decided to book the Vespa Countryside Tour at the last minute. The tour was amazing, we saw a glimpse into local life in the countryside and was a nice break from Hanoi city. The tour guide Hoa and drivers Bao and Thuong were wonderful. Could not more highly recommend booking this tour!

5.00What a great way to kick off our trip to Vietnam. We did the afternoon village Vespa tour. Bao and Hieu were excellent drivers keeping us safe and comfortable and Shang was a wonderful guide who shared much, history, wisdom and passion for the village culture of Vietnam. If you have a day, or half day, to fill do not hesitate to ask for Shang. You won’t be disappointed !

5.00What an amazing day we had with Happy as our guide. We loved seeing a little of the countryside as we are in Hanoi only a few days. Learned a lot about how people live in the villages and visited the An Duong Vuong temple. We felt very secure with our drivers as they navigated the Hanoi traffic. The tour ended with a great meal at Pho Cuón Hung Bėn. Absolutely recommend.

5.00Had an amazing morning doing this tour with my daughters. Our tour guides Shang , Tom , Bao were exceptional. We got a great mix of history, creativity, adventure and culinary delights. 10/10

5.00Chang was an excellent driver and very informative. The places we went to were interesting and fun. The house visit was especially enlightening about Vietnamese culture and the lunch was delicious. The antique, but fully functioning Vespa was a nice touch.
