Lake of Almiros
UNESKO site: The Waters of Life: Almyros Wetland. And Voulismeno Aloni. We begin where fresh water rises from the heart of the island. The karstic spring of Almyros is one of the most important natural ecosystems in Crete and a protected site. Here we introduce travelers to: • The sacred role of water in Minoan spirituality • The geological mystery of the spring • Wetlands as life sources for ancient settlements This first stop sets the tone: nature is sacred in Crete UNSESKO SITE :The name of the place means "sunken threshing floor" in the local dialect, and it is a crater. Travelers learn about: • Ancient beliefs connected to earth openings and underworld symbolism • Natural formations considered sacred places • The relationship between Minoan religion and landscape
Gonies is a mountain village on the Filiorimo hill of Psiloritis, about 26 km from Heraklion, at an altitude of 620 m with around 325 residents. UNESCO SITE :Nappes of Gonies– On the hills around Gonia village almost the entire geological structure of Crete is represented. The rocks appear in clusters, one above the other, forming what are called nappes in geology.

5.00Magda is a superstar! She helped me organize long distance an International medical conference. She suggested and helped organized the congress dinner and cultural activity. Arranged for pick ups at airport, helped individual guest with extra suggestions. Really excellent service. 24/7 IS 24/7 . The social aspect of the conference was a success thanks to Magda and her excellent service!

5.00I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Magda in Crete. She was beyond warm, friendly, and funny. She welcomed us to her city with open arms, shared her beautiful culture, history, the most fabulous foods ever, and treated us like friends/ family from the get go. Our tour was customized and we had the most special time seeing the beauty of Crete. Thank you again Magda, the highlight of our trip:)

5.00Had a lovely experience. Had a coach pick us up from our hotel and went to Heraklion (beautiful city). The owner of the company (Magda) met us and showed us around. She was so helpful and kind. One of our group had an accident and was taken to the hospital and Magda stayed with her also till she was done. I would recommend 100 times.

Excellent Knossos Tour and Trip to Dia Island

5.00We booked a private tour and private yacht to Dia Island going with three teens. Magda was the most lovely charming vibrant host ! She tailored our trip and was kind to book last minute excursions. The guide and boat crew were great , lunch was fabulous even catered to our gluten free child ! Highly recommend and excellent quality !

5.00We had a wonderful day, sightseeing beautiful mounty landscape and nature, as well as nice villages and touching monuments (Arkadi monastery...). Eleftherna was our most beloved moment, it deserves at least one hour-break. The taverna chosen by the agency is charming, typical and served delightful meal. We spent the day with two nice people, the driver Michael and the guide Eleanna. The guide spoke a perfect French, was very learned and interesting, answered all our questions, and had a pleasant tone and voice. Michael was very friendly, and kindly took some photos of us. As a whole, it will remain as a wonderful remembering to us! I warmly recommend this excursion.

Wonderful to get away from the usual tourist spots

5.00I really enjoyed the day, both my guide and driver were lovely to talk to and very well-informed. It was such a pleasure to get away from the usual tourist spots and see something authentic and Greek, such as the paintings and frescoes in the small village temples. My highlight was seeing the potter doing his work, a knowledgeable man indeed!
