A tourism tour of about 30-40 minutes around the old village, al Aqr, in Nizwa. The tour explores the city's heritage village, historical ruins, old irrigation system and architectural mud houses. The tour is by echo carts, educational, interactive and entertaining.

The tour guide will explain some architectural information about the mud houses

The tour is like passing through open museums while seated, open cart and being close to the real old life of Oman.

Bypassing at Nizwa fort without entry. Visitors will see Nizwa fort from outside. Some information will be presented about the fort and the surrounding building

Al Aqur village in Nizwa, the visitor will be driven through this ancient village and see old mud houses, renovated buildings, Al Aqur wall and the irrigation channels. Each land mark will be breifly explained by the guide. Short video will be presented at the Tanoor location. Visitors can take pictures.

Excellent experience , I will re-visited again with family .. the hoist was very polite and friendly , gave detail information about the heritage and the history of Nizwa fort .. it was fun as well

Anas was amazing! He was so helpful and friendly, with such a great way of guiding tours. My daughter still keeps asking about him until today — that’s how memorable the experience was. It truly made our visit unforgettable. I highly recommend Anas for the best experience in Alaker Village.

Beautiful ride around the old town and across the past explained fantastically by our tour guide Mr Ana's...mashallah the best tour I ever had in Nizwa. Thanks to Mr Ana's first then to the dedicated omani company in promoting the best experience for tourist and promot tourism in Nizwa. The Capital of Islamic Heritage.

A private tour done by Nizwa (old part) with Ahmed. What a great experience that was. The explanation was clear and understandable in good English. Ahmed put us very much at ease and was extremely friendly and respectful in contact. Definitely worth repeating!
