Boat ride there was very bumpy and wet. We sat at the top front left thinking we were safe but we got wet through to our underwear and burnt to a crisp despite looking like it’s under shade. This was not warned and was a direct result of people not respecting the queue to board the boat and pushing in. This is why it’s not rated highly. Also once at symi most things are shut, despite being august. We ended up walking around a bit lost and then had to sit in a cafe for an hour with an iced coffee. The ride back was much better though so stopped it being a bad experience overall.

The day trip to Symi was lovely & relaxing. The boat ride was pleasant and we had a delicious lunch in Symi.

Absolutely loved our trip to Symi and the sunset on the way back to Rhodes was amazing, An issue we had was when waiting to get on the boat the gentleman organising the queue was trying to keep everyone in the shade by splitting the queues which was much appreciated but then certain people who turned up later decided they weren’t going to go to the back of the queue and just stood at the end of the first line, this wasn’t really handled well by the staff as he gave up combined the queues and they were just allowed to push in and enjoy the shade and then the rest of us had to stand in the baking hot sun!!!
