Our Highlight tour of about 1,5 hours (± 6 kms) takes you along the most important and interesting sites in Maastricht. This nice route in one of the oldest and most beautiful cities of The Netherlands leads you along squares and watermills, over city walls, along small picturesque alleys, old town gates and through different parks. Our tour which is nearly free from traffic, is really worthwhile!

During several short stops you get an extensive explanation about the sights, hear some anecdotes and we'll give you hints to enjoy the city best after the tour as well.

Maastricht Running Tours operates since 2011 and works with local and experienced guides.

The Stokstraat quarter is the collection of streets between the city centre and the Jeker quarter. All of these streets lead to the Onze Lieve Vrouweplein. This is the area where Maastricht main heart was in Roman times.

What a fantastic experience. Raoul was great, so knowledgeable, fun and in no rush at all. Great thing to do as a family. Felt like we had a whole nother day within the day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the running tour with Raoul! Raoul was very knowledgeable and friendly; I learned a lot of new things despite having previously lived in Maastricht. I particularly appreciated that he adapted the tour to my needs and included some great additional viewing points, which were stunning in the morning sun. Definitely recommend this tour and hope to be back myself for one of his other guided runs!

Raoul was an amazing guide. He is very attentive, kind, and a good runner. He asked me what I want to see and he adjusted the tour accordingly, and to my pace. He is clearly passionated and he was a wealth of information. I highly recommend him

This running tour is a great way to experience and learn about the city and its surroundings. Raoul was amazing: he adjusted the run to my pace and the trajectory to my tour interest. He is clearly passionated; he kept talking about the history and significance of the places we saw. I do not know how he had so much energy! We saw and run a lot during the two hours- but he will customize the tour to your preferences. I highly recommend him!

This is an excellent tour to see and get a feel for the history of this beautiful city and to get a sense of what it is like to live here. Raoul is brilliant guide; he is full of charm and knowledge and good humour. I highly recommend this tour and Raoul as a guide.

It was a great experience to discover Maastricht while running and we saw a lot of special sights which we wouldn't have found without Raoul. He is a very likable and well informed guide, we can highly recommend!

Great Running/bikeTour from Maastricht. Highlight of my vist to Maastricht. Raoul is really enthusiastic about Maastricht and gives a great inside in a sportive way to see Maastricht. Best thing is he brought a bike for my pregnant wife! Great service, Hotel pick up, entertaining storytelling. BOOK THIS TOUR.
