The tour certainly was interesting. It was custom so we spent most of the time more or less wandering around the city and checking out local spots rather than major tourist spots. The guide was nice. They talked a lot and were very passionate about their town.

First of all, Garen was amazing. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and thorough with the information. We didn't cover a large area, as the sites were all close to one another, but I'm so glad that these were the places I ended up going with a guide because of the informative history lesson and details provided. There is a museum on the ground level of the CKS Memorial (which I probably wouldn't have found on my own), and it was all written in traditional Chinese, so having Garen there to explain everything was great. Then we went to Lungshan Temple where again I learned so much from her. Not to mention the quick stop for ginger tea and a bite to eat. It was a lot of walking and a lot of information and I 100% recommend Garen for all sightseeing in the city!

This is a fabulous tour of Taipei. Eva, our tour guide, was simply amazing. She whisked us around the city on a very busy Lunan New Year. We not only saw all the sights but Eva gave us interesting historical tidbits. She took us on the metro/subway to move around and treated us to a bubble tea which originated in Taiwan. Eva is bubbly, smart and sweet. She is well travelled so she gets what the average travelled wants in a tour. She wasn’t watching her watch she ensured we saw everything we wanted to see. Also gave us gifts for Lunar New Year. So sweet! Would highly recommend her and tour itself.

My tour guide, Gareth, was really nice and knowledgeable. She waited for me when my taxi took my to the wrong place originally. Once we got started, she told me all about Taiwan's history and showed me some historical things I didn't see when I was in Taipei before. She also recommended some good food, which is always a plus to me.
