I only had 48 hours in Rio and I have never been to Brazil before. I booked a day private tour from my hotel and I’m so glad I did that! Daniela is an amazing guide. She’s very knowledgeable and personable. She made my super short trip to Rio so much fun.

We actually booked 4 full days with Daniela. We couldn’t have been happier for our time and experience. She tailored each day to suit, she was prompt and so knowledgeable. Huge thank you for the best experience we could have hoped for.

Look no further if you want to see the real Rio! Daniela is not only knowledgeable in history, politics and contemporary culture, she is humorous, a great story teller and gives a very personal experience. Could not recommend her more

Going on a trip to Rio de Janeiro when you are French, with a limited level of English and almost no Portuguese, and having the idea of visiting, discovering, learning the history and customs of the "Cidade Maravilhosa", seems like a bit crazy. While preparing my departure I found the company "Damah Tour", I got a contact with the tour guide called Dani, very nice and reassuring in addition to being a real "Carioca". She was able to advise me on how to best organize my trip in order to enjoy and see a maximum of things. Once we arrived in Rio de Janeiro, we met again and my immersion began, from the visit of tourist places like the Historical Center, Santa Teresa, Cristo Redentor, Little Africa, the Selaron Stairs, the Botanical Garden, Copacabana, the Carnival workshops, as well as typical places of the Cariocas, but there was also the visit of Ilha Grande and Paraty outside the city of Rio de Janeiro. These are all places to discover and when your guide is a passionate person with a cultural knowledge of her city and is sociable, friendly and ready to listen to all your questions. This makes the experience even more pleasant and fun. I could describe and develop on each of these places and make you want to go but Dani will be better than me to make you appreciate and know more about these must-see sites! In short what more can I say, apart from advising you and even highly recommending Damah Tour, the slogan says "de braços abertos" with open arms! Totally true! If you want to be a Carioca during your stay in Rio de Janeiro, don't miss this experience! For Damah Tour and his guide Dani, a 5 star rating is a minimum. Muito obrigado Dani!
