North Etna hike. The excursion takes place on the North slope in the protected area of Etna Park, Trail or hiking shoes are enough to make this hike easy. The half-day visit of Etna from the North side is easy and accessible to everyone, adults and children (even young children). The group is made up of a maximum of 8 people, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. This is an excursion made for travelers who love nature and hiking. Our excursion starts early in the morning, to allow you to fully appreciate the beauty and majesty of the Etna volcano. This visit is perfect to understand how the Etna volcano works. You will discover that there is not only the top of the volcano to visit. Our route passes through fascinating places: you will see ancient craters, lava flows from different eras and a lava tunnel. Highlights of the Etna North Tour: Hike with our French-speaking guide through a set of 8 craters online. Visit of a lava tunnel. 5.00We were delighted with our hike on Mount Etna with Antonio. This Francophone guide brilliantly shared his passion by explaining the different formations of Etna and explaining the history of all the places visited. More than just a hike, this is a history lesson and a cultural moment that Antonio will be able to make you live. We were all delighted by his pedagogy, his attention and his professionalism, but also by his great sympathy. His passion for Etna is contagious.

5.00Great experience with three very professional and friendly guides. Antonio makes every effort to guarantee our safety and his two sidekicks have given us lots of interesting information about the volcano. My 12-year-old son loved it even though the climb is quite physical. But thanks to Antonio’s advice on equipment, we had a wonderful and unforgettable day.. business, absolutely, but especially with real professional guides, like Antonio.

5.00I wanted to climb Mount Etna with my two teenagers; After Stromboli and Vesuvius, it was a new experience to discover this other active volcano. I chose Etna3340 because their offer allows to go beyond the simple tourist aspect to appreciate an experience rich in discoveries and as close as possible to craters. I didn't expect such a spectacle. The summit is breathtaking. In a hike quite accessible and accompanied by a team concerned to ensure the safety of all, we had a fantastic time. Thanks to Antonio and his whole team.

5.00Even on holidays when you target activity based on 'empty your head and change from your daily environment' (and possibly to live an unusual experience): spontaneity and lack of preparation can be a tentation. These attitudes are not recommended when vulcano climbing is your option. Indeed and even on qualified "more easy track pass" - no question that unanticipated risk would transform 'your not ordinary experience' into a risky/possibly devastating journey. ETNA3340 was contacted looking for professionalism /experienced advies before selecting this escape - Etna vuclano is fully active and climate is changing,...: Sophia and Antonio were our guides from ETNA3340 - not wordy, no advertisement but these guides are those professional you look for while anticipating your family (children and adults) to complete a safe, fully intense experience that you can completely feel. More precisely: they know geology and vulcano in particular (as they are both University graduated in vulcanology and have a long experience from Stromboli to Etna and living vulcano's): online advies preparation and recommendation together to entire all along guide during the ride were so constantly reassuring, safe with a systematic explanation on every single aspect of vulcano; they were kindly dedicated to each group member. Please note that we are a independent belgian family ( 2 adults and 2 children 11 and 15) We do not have any commitment or any connection to them before plannig the holidays in Sicily this summer /no conflict of interest/no commercial relationship We suggest you to take advantage of ETNA3340 if you anticipate a ride on the Etna Thank you Sophia and Antonio

5.00A team of great professionals for an exceptional day. The guides accompany you to safety , essential point for us who were with our 12 year old son . They transmit their knowledge (in impeccable French) with passion and a perfect knowledge of this wild and sometimes hostile natural environment. They are very attentive to each other’s physical abilities and adapt. We did not skimp on quality and safety for your visit to Mount Etna, and we did not regret it: it will remain the highlight of our stay in Sicily. Thank you Antonio , Sofia and Claudio!

5.00We loved it!!! Our guide Antonio was exceptionally kind, accessible and professional! His passion for Etna was remarkable. The quality of the explanations were great! They were clear, precise and adapted to his young audience. And as a bonus we had the chance to experience an eruption, Antonio drove us to a place to be able to observe it safely! Antonio was really great, my son loved it and so did we.
