Hiroshima is home to the historically significant and moving Peace Memorial and Museum. In the city stands Hiroshima Castle, nicknamed the ‘carp castle’ because of the glistening carp fish residing in the moats. The Shukkei-en Garden captures the beauty of a Japanese style garden in a small space. On this private walking tour with a Government Licensed and Experienced English speaking guides, you will be able to experience these sights without worry. Your guide will also be able to teach you about the history and culture of Hiroshima in a personalized way that you can only achieve with a private guide.

Yuji was a fantastic guide for Hiroshima he was very knowledgeable and considerate and we didn’t feel rushed at any time. Yuji gave us lots of great information and had English material for us if we needed further explanation. Highly recommend this tour and Yuji as a guide. John

We had the most amazing tour with Sachi, so grateful to find an official local tour guide, that guided us perfectly for our 4 hour tour, including organising lunch and helping us to make sure the day before we met her we made the most of our stay. To have her pick us up from our hotel and walking everywhere and back was ideal for us as a family. Highly recommend Sachi.

The tour was absolutely perfect. Our fabulous tour guide Yuko met us right outside the train station (per our request) with a sign with my name on it. It was a seamless link up. Yuko was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and took into account our goals and hopes for the tour when deciding how long to spend at each stop. We learned so much, saw so much, and left feeling very satisfied with the tour. The gardens and castle were lovely; the museum and peace park were very moving. We highly recommend this tour for people who would like to learn more about the tragic yet resilient history of the city of Hiroshima. The tour took approximately 4-4.5 hours, including a mixture of walking, standing, and time on the bus. A sincere thank you to Yuko for her amazing tour!
