Summer in Japan is very hot and humid, so we recommend that you bring water and wear a hat to prevent heat stroke. Also, climate has become more extreme, with summer temperatures reaching up to 40°C (110°F) and winter lows dropping to -5°C (20°F). Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Since most Japanese restaurants are not fully equipped to offer vegetarian menus, vegetarian options on our tour are limited.
Some exhibits contain graphic imagery that may be disturbing to young children. Please inform your guide if you have any concerns.

5.00This was an excellent and sobering tour filled with history of Hiroshima and the impact of Nuclear weapons on not just the people of Hiroshima and Japan but all of humanity. Yuji is a Hiroshima native and was an excellent tour guide sharing great insights about the city, culture and perspective on the event and aftermath of 8.6 at 8:15am. I would highly recommend everyone take this tour to gain valuable insights and perspectives that you will carry for the entirety of your life. 100% highly recommend.

5.00Fabulous tour with Kaori. Very informative and an easy pace. A good mix of history of A-bomb and impact on local people, their lives and buildings. Nice lunch. Mixed with fun of origami and slide down Mazda tower. Small group. Highly recommended, 5 star tour

5.00We weren't sure how big the tour group would be and were so amazed when we were the only people! We had a private tour with Hiki. His family was directly affected by the bomb at Hiroshima so had an unique insight into the impact of that time period. He was wonderful with his explanations of the importance of the places and sights that we say but also gave us time and space to go at our own pace in the museum areas. We went up a tower and made paper cranes and let them fly down into a viewing area. Was really powerful to see. Had a delicious lunch at the end of the tour. Highly recommend.
