Discover Cork on a family-friendly walking tour that blends sweet treats, rich history, and local charm. We begin at Cameron Bakery with fresh, buttery pastries before strolling along Merchant’s Quay beside the winding River Lee. At Emmet Place, we’ll highlight some of Cork’s most iconic landmarks.
A short walk brings us to one of our partner shops on historic Frenchchurch Street, where you’ll enjoy donuts made fresh that morning. We’ll then treat you to colorful, creative varieties that showcase Cork’s modern flair and flavor.
As we head to our final stop at Cafe Mexicana, we’ll pass the historic Coal Quay, a trading site for centuries. In this cozy café tucked in the Huguenot Quarter, you’ll choose between Alfajores or Grandma’s Mexican cake for a sweet finale.
This tour is perfect for families, food lovers, and anyone eager to explore Cork’s flavors, stories, and soul in a fun, relaxed way.

I booked the tour as an activity to do with my 10 year old daughter in Cork, as both she and I really enjoy sweet treats. This was a great experience, a great tour with lots of information about Cork city that I didn’t know, truly fascinating, and it was brought through in the enthusiasm of our guide Rachael. The pastries were superb! I probably wouldn’t have found them without the tour, I would recommend them all, and when I’m next in Cork I will make it my business to get to some or all of them again. However, if I had to pick one, it would be the Japanese bakery we visited on Oliver Plunkett Street. I had the spring onion and pork roll, I know, I said I liked sweet things, but this roll was divine! I can’t wait to get back to cork to have another.

We booked this tour at the last minute to make something of an unplanned day in Cork. What a treat it was! There were only five of us in the group, plus our guide. The tour was interesting and informative for the adults and donuts made it extra enjoyable for our 9-year-old. The guide was excellent, and there were more pastries than we could eat. Would recommend.

Mary is a good and friendly tour guide. She is really knowledgeable and shared with us so many interesting things about Cork that we wouldn’t have otherwise known despite having lived here for a while. She brought us to very good places for the pastries! It’s a super good value for what you get. Highly recommend!

Delicious donuts and a wonderful guide named Mary! Would recommend booking for summer, as a lot of it is outdoors. I was the only attendee that day. I think it took about 2 hours. Mary was very friendly and loved answering questions. I had a great time!
