This award-winning Krakow tour will cover all of the highlights of Krakow Old Town and Wawel Castle.
The small fee you pay to Viator is a booking fee to secure your place on the tour. On the day, you will join our donations-based tour. Our guides work for contributions at the end. The amount you donate is entirely up to you.
We meet in front of the towers of St Mary's Basilica in Krakow Old Town main square. Look for the Blue 'City Walks Krakow' umbrella.
On the tour, you'll visit the beautiful Krakow Old Town and majestic Wawel Castle. You'll learn about Krakow's most important historical figures, including Pope John Paul II and Nicolaus Copernicus. You'll hear the stories of Krakow's most famous residents—the Krakow Dragon and the St. Mary's Basilica trumpeter.

5.00Rudolph really knocked it out of the park (for non-baseball fans, this means he did an awesome job) as our tour leader in Krakow. He has a vast knowledge of Krakow history, which he generously shared with all of us, he very friendly and open, and kept us entertained with his lively storytelling and energy. He is truly a local (born and raised there) and can not only talk about history, but also current day issues. Really enjoyed our time with him - we wish we had more time (flight to catch!) and we would have had also done the Jewish district tour with him, so if you do have time, make sure you do that as well!

5.00We took a tour with Dale and it was so informative. He pitched it perfectly for all ages. We were with our 12 year old who has a very limited attention span, and he enjoyed it. In fact, we liked it so much that we met up with him in the afternoon to do the Jewish Quarter and Ghetto tour. The cafes, restaurants and bars he recommended were also fantastic. The tour is free but please remember to tip well. Its fully deserved.

She is incredibly knowledgeable and brought Krakow’s history to life through engaging stories, rich information, and a great sense of humor.
