Set sail on the west coast of Hawaii Island for a 3-hour cruise to Captain Cook’s Monument for dinner, as a local historian shares stories and legends of the sites you will see along the way. First cocktail is on the house! Listen in to live Hawaiian music and enjoy a magnificent sunset as you sail back to Kona. Don’t forget your camera and keep an eye out for dolphins and seasonal whales.

Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts

Local Baby Spinach, Rincon Farms Strawberries, Big Island Feta Cheese, Candied Macadamia nuts with a Waimea Strawberry Vinaigrette (GF)

Kona Coffee Braised Short Rib (GF) with Creamy Mashed Potatoes featuring a Kona Coffee Red Eye Demi-Glace (GF) and Island Baked Coconut Dinner Rolls served with Butter (Vegetarian)

Vegetarian Option: Thai Coconut Curry with Hamakua Sweet Potatoes, Hawaiian Breadfruit, Carrots, & Bell Peppers (Vegan/GF) and Steamed Jasmine Rice (Vegan/GF) Must be requested 48 hours in advance.

Kailua Pier

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Kealakekua Bay

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

The food was good, the crew was great, and the entertainment and historical narration was good. The water was a little rough, but we had a surf advisory today, so it was understandable. That made what the service crew even more impressive. Learned a good bit about the island history, enjoyed a great sunset, and had dolphins show at both ends of the trip.

The historical dinner cruise was a wonderful excursion. The captain was upbeat and fun, the crew were very attentive and great at what they do, the historical narrator was so interesting and the musician was very entertaining. The dinner itself was really delicious. We saw whales which was an awesome bonus and the sunset completed the experience. Definitely would do again. The waves made it a bit rocky, but it was not unbearable and I even forgot my anti nausea patch and was fine.

The crew are excellent and kept the drinks flowing. Be sure to go on the top deck or grab a table on the port side. The food was just ok. However the sunset view is spectacular. Highly recommend.

This experience was well worth the money. The food was very good, the crew was exceptional, the sunset was breathtaking. We saw a few whales, the music and guide were great! It all added up to a very enjoyable time.

My husband and I went on this dinner cruise as one of our first activities on our honeymoon. The service was great! Very windy. Learned some interesting facts about Hawaiian history.

Food was good, crew were amazing and attentive with bringing drinks and offering to take photos. We spotted whales and two manta ray which was an added bonus. There was live music, but it was a hodge podge blend of music that didn’t fit well together and didn’t match the vibe of the boat. A soundtrack would’ve been more enjoyable. It was very overcast and cloudy so we didn’t really witness the sunset at all, but still had a lovely time and enjoyed the ride tremendously. My tip is to not cancel your trip based on weather, as it was still very enjoyable.

Crew was excellent. Food was great. We even saw some whales and dolphins. The captain stopped the boat so we could watch the whales and the Dolphins. We were very impressed with their professionalism.
