Set sail on the west coast of Hawaii Island for a 3-hour cruise to Captain Cook’s Monument for dinner, as a local historian shares stories and legends of the sites you will see along the way. First cocktail is on the house! Listen in to live Hawaiian music and enjoy a magnificent sunset as you sail back to Kona. Don’t forget your camera and keep an eye out for dolphins and seasonal whales.

Kona Coffee Braised Short Rib (GF) with Creamy Mashed Potatoes featuring a Kona Coffee Red Eye Demi-Glace (GF) and Island Baked Coconut Dinner Rolls served with Butter (Vegetarian)
Vegetarian Option: Thai Coconut Curry with Hamakua Sweet Potatoes, Hawaiian Breadfruit, Carrots, & Bell Peppers (Vegan/GF) and Steamed Jasmine Rice (Vegan/GF) Must be requested 48 hours in advance.

Kailua Pier
Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.
Kealakekua Bay
Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

5.00There were swells but the cruise ship left anyway. Once out of harbor pretty smooth sailing. We had a fun crows on board. Crew were great. Dinner good too. They bring you drinks if you don't want to go to bar. Beautiful sunset views at the end.
Take motion sickness meds before you ride!!!

3.00Pretty sunset and good food and service. I asked the staff if the boat would move as much as it was on the pier and they said no. They also said the cover on the top deck would keep us dry? He said no to both and both were blatant lies!!! 3 hours sitting on a boat that Jared you all over the place!! They need to warn people about this!! We are done with all sunset boat rides!! We expected a more level ride.

3.00Food was great, friendly staff, good drinks. The boat is small and if you’re prone to seasickness don’t go. Our entire group was sick by the time we got back to the dock.

5.00Very welcoming, family-like crew. Food was excellent and drinks were great too. The history guide was very knowledgeable and explained the historical facts in a fun yet informative way. The musician and singer was just real pleasure to listen to.

4.00It is VERY rocky so beware if you forgot your dramamine! Otherwise staff is fantastic and food is great. I had vegan and loved it. The history is interesting and the live music is great. We got to watch the sun set too. A nice time on the ocean!
