You will be transferred to John Lee’s bike station in the countryside to start your cycling route, or we can begin directly from your hotel. Cycle through picturesque country roads to a local farming village. (If you don’t know how to ride a bicycle, you can use our scooter “xe ôm” service. The fee is 170,000 VND per person, paid directly to the driver.) Experience the daily life of local farmers by joining their activities — such as hoeing the soil and watering vegetables in an organic herb garden.

5.00We had a great experience exploring the rice fields, vegetable gardens, and the small streets of Hoi An with John. He is super friendly, easygoing and made the tour really enjoyable. He also took lots of photos and videos for us, which we really appreciated. The price was very reasonable and we were especially grateful for his flexibility..our booking request was very last minute, but he still managed to accommodate us. Highly recommended!!!!

5.00We have just had such a fantastic tour of the Hoi A countryside with John Lee. I hadn’t ridden a bike in years so was a little apprehensive but it was the best way to see the beautiful countryside and experience real life in the villages of Hoi An. John was great fun and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommended him and this tour for riders of all abilities.

5.00Great tour with John who goes above and beyond to make sure you experience the real culture. He is wonderful with adults and especially good with kids. He stayed beyond his fixed time and ensured we enjoyed hoi a completely. He took us for whatever we needed - Tailor, coffee shop, leather stores, apart from an excellent lantern floating experience at the river. His communication skills are excellent and he speaks fluent English. He is kind, and funny. I would recommend him highly and also use him when we come back. Absolutely wonderful - thank you John! You’ve been such a delight!

5.00My husband and I went on a morning bike tour with John. We used bikes from our hotel and he led the way! After leaving the old town, we made our way through the paddies and learned about traditional rice farming and how it has shifted. We met a friendly water buffalo who was living his best life chomping grass. We then visited Hang, one of three sisters who rice and vegetable farms. Hang is a queen who can carry and disperse more water than the water buffalo as a woman in her 70s! It was an honor to have her show us her work. After that, we went to the coconut village and found some quiet moments in the brackish water. My husband tried his hand at fishing. Afterward, we ate a delicious lunch with veggies from Hang’s garden. In all, it was about 4 hours and 12 miles- a perfect morning excursion with John. Highly recommend!!
