Located in the heart of gorgeous woodlands, Dabas Zirgi is a unique island of peace, outdoor exploration, family activities and joy. Not only we provide horse riding activities, but also stand strongly for equine welfare and natural management methods, so, during the ride, you will be able to learn a lot about horses from a perspective you might have not considered before.
This activity is suited to people of all ages and is best for those who are not experienced riders yet, as we pay our utmost attention to the safety and comfort of the rider.

Met by one of our knowledgeable riding instructors, you will be provided with all the necessary safety instruction and equipment to feel safe and comfortable on one of our calm and friendly horses. Then, accompanied by the instructor, you will go on a relaxing trail ride, exploring our woods and getting to know everything about horses you ever wanted to ask. The ride is at a walk only to ensure your safety and the welfare of our horses. Although our location is only a 20 minute drive away from Riga, the capital city of Latvia, we are surrounded by gorgeous evergreen woodlands and you will be able to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

A beautiful ride through the snowy forest!

5.00We booked a foursome ride and it was great! The details were discussed in advance over the phone and we felt in good hands from the start. The farm is located in a very beautiful forest, which was now also fantastically snowy. The horses are offered a beautiful spot of soil there and you can very much see that their welfare comes first. We were warmly welcomed and the ride was just beautiful! On snowy paths we walked comfortably through the forest for a good hour, while we were allowed to learn a lot about the farm and the horses. An absolute recommendation, thank you!
