  Antea was a terrific guide for my solo horseback riding experience in Konavle. She ensured my safety, provided some interesting information about the area, and incredibly passionate about animals. I loved meeting her, her mother, the horses, dogs, cats, and goats! The snacks and homemade wine at the end was an added bonus. I highly recommend this experience!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Iris picked us up at our hotel in Dubrovnik. Iris and Antea were kind and welcoming and obviously genuine animal lovers. My beautiful thoroughbred was well trained and gentle. We ambled through the beautiful countryside since my husband doesn't like to trot these days. We enjoyed wine and snacks afterward The horses are obviously well loved and cared for. Would go back again if I could.

  The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Fantastic communication, lovely hosts, efficient pick up in Dubrovnik from our hotel. Lots of advice on places to eat and visit in Dubrovnik. Horses were safe and friendly. Lovely ranch of animals. Gorgeous experience through and through. Would have loved to do the longer ride. Next time. Lovely scenery. Lovely post ride spread of food and drink

  I've wanted to do horseback riding for a long time and this was the perfect opportunity. I had a lovely morning and the hosts were friendly and showed great hospitality. There is the beautiful and scenic Croatian countryside to enjoy and the ranch has a few other animals to enjoy besides horses. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. A ten out of ten.

  Fabulous time exploring the beautiful countryside, Antea and Iris were kind and welcoming and obviously genuine animal lovers. Impy, my beautiful thoroughbred, kept me safe and was beautifully trained. As a solo female traveller, I felt incredibly safe. Thank you.   I visited Mali Raj mid September. I rode as a child but hadn’t been on a horse in decades till I had a ride In Greece last year. I decided I’d love to ride again during my Croatia holiday. I looked at a few stables online but felt most comfortable with my conversations with Antea. I was picked up from my apartment by her Mother Iris. I had booked a half day ride and to my surprise Antea said the half day ones are private rides so there was only me and her. My horse was the lovely boy Impactful a gorgeous thoroughbred. I’d only been lucky enough to ever ride a thoroughbred once before as a child! The ride was a beautiful trek through the gorgeous Konavle countryside. It was quite the adventure, cows crossing the road in front of us and at the midway point a crossing through a river before the journey back to the stables. My riding skills are not what they used to be so I was grateful that Impactful looked after me well. After the ride I got deer cuddles, cat cuddles and dog cuddles. As I’m not in the position to have any animals in my life it was a lovely day for me. Antea and iris sat me down for a lovely light lunch of breads, cheeses, cold meats, sweet treats and some local liqueurs. I also enjoyed hearing about their family and life in Croatia. All animals looked exceptionally well cared for and happy which is very important to me. I heartily recommend booking if you are looking for a ride on your holidays. A beautiful day with friendly and welcoming hosts

  Great experience. From pick up through to drop off the hosts were very welcoming and congenial. They have a small ranch with horses, goats, dogs and cats; very hospitable offering bread, cheese, figs, grapes etc with family brewed wine and liquors. Horse riding was straightforward and felt safe; we wished we had booked the longer half-day trip where you get to ride through a river! (Apparently you can find this listed as alternative experience in Viator). Everyone in our family (including two teenagers) agreed we all liked this trip.

  The ranch is really a "mali raj" ("little paradise"). Our expectations pushed up by the many positive reviews were not disappointed!
