• A fantastic Hot Air Balloon flight at dawn!

  This was my first ever Hot Air Balloon Flight and I was a little apprehensive beforehand, however, it turned out to be one of the most exhilarating experiences and I enjoyed every second of the one hour flight. I was picked up from my hotel, spot on the appointed time (5.30am) and after collecting other passengers we arrived at the launch site to be warmly greeted and offered coffee and pastries. Our pilot gave us an in depth safety briefing and we took off as dawn broke and witnessed a wonderful sunrise across the desert dunes. It was so peaceful and relaxing to be floating above the ground observing Oryx and Camels, while watching the desert landscape change as vibrant patches of greenery came into view of the various farms and campsites dotted around the area. We had a very smooth landing and celebrated receiving our flight certificates with a traditional glass of champagne, although fruit juice and coffee were also available along with pastries, muffins and fruit. A fantastic experience and one that I would highly recommend with this company given the professionalism and friendliness of the staff I had the pleasure to meet.

  I recently took a hot air balloon ride and absolutely loved it. The entire experience felt calm, magical, and surprisingly peaceful. Watching the sunrise from above the desert was unforgettable, quiet, beautiful, and completely different from anything I’ve done before. The crew was professional, the flight felt safe, and the landing was smooth. Overall, a wonderful experience I’d happily repeat.

  Loved the experience. It was all very well organised and all the staff (including owners) were so lovely and approachable. My (pre - flight) queries were always answered and what’s app communication made it easy. Captain was very informative from balloon safety details, what flying the balloon entails and points of interest to look at when in the air. We were offered breakfast snacks and coffee and after flight champagne and snacks. We were picked up and dropped off. It was a very pleasant morning and highly recommend action flight! Ps .. we also had a very smooth landing and a great surprise air acrobat show.

  What an amazing way to start the day. From the point of booking to when we were taken back to the hotel, the team at Action Flight were superb. We were collected from the hotel at 4:45am (believe me, it’s worth the early start!) Kasha was really friendly and explained how the trip would go. The team at the launch site were fab and there were hot drinks and cookies. Our pilot JP was so knowledgable about the area; he and Kasha pointed out the Gazelles and Oryx. JP also gave us a history lesson on hot air balloons when we landed, along with a glass of champagne and plenty fruit, pastries and biscuits on offer. Wayne the owner met us when we landed too and was also really friendly. As was our photographer who was in the flight. Aside from the amazing staff, crew and the seamless setup which we experienced, the flight itself was phenomenal. My first ever hot air balloon flight. I didn’t know what to expect but it was so peaceful and calm (despite the heat 🔥😂) The scenery was spectacular and sunrise was stunning. The colours from the desert were amazing. The videos and photos don’t do it justice. Loved every minute - especially the landing 😂

  From start to finish, the whole experience was absolutely amazing. It was a pleasure meeting the team. JP the pilot was great! He explained everything thoroughly. The flight was scenic and we saw the gorgeous dunes and wildlife of RAK's desert landscape.

  This was an amazing trip although the drive to the launch site through thick fog didn't give us much hope but we got airborne. It is very peaceful watching the sun rise over the desert. Pilot (Catherine or Caroline?) was very good and talk us through the sites and the balloon. Lots of photo opportunities and although it is a hideously early start, it was worth it. Landing was fun too!
