On this tour we visit, Goðafoss, Aldeyjarfoss and Hrafnabjargarfoss waterfalls. Then we start our journey through the uninhabited Icelandic highlands towards Laugafell hot spring. There you can enjoy a bath in a geothermal pool sourrounded by nature. An adventure and unforgettable experience. On our way back to Akureyri, we will enjoy an spectacular view over Eyjafjörður.

5.00We chose this tour instead of a cruise sponsored excursion. This private tour with Kristjan was fabulous and did not disappoint! Our family four (kids are young adults) enjoyed every minute. Kristjan was so friendly and knowledgable that he was able to take us off the beaten path to sites that those on tour buses could only dream of. Our day started with weather issues that lead him to offer us a change in course so that we would still get a full day of Akureyri touring. We visited the most beautiful remote waterfalls after seeing Godafoss, drove off-road to the top of a volcanic mountain (the views!!!), visited a craft shop filled with the works of locals, had stops at lake myvatn and Dimmuborgir, visited baths at the Mid Atlantic Ridge and more. We learned so much in the car between the stops. It was a quite a learning experience. This tour is the reason we know we will all come back to Iceland for a longer trip to this amazing country! Highly recommend if you have one day here and want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the tour buses. Thanks, Kristjan!

5.00We were 4 persons going with Kristjan on a tour, as our cruise visited Akureyri. We went to Godafoss, Dimmu Borgir and Hverarønd. Kristjan was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable and friendly, and we had a great day! Our jeep excursion was really worth the money!!
