OPTIONAL STOP: This area is also called Royal Palace, Forbidden City constructed from 1804-1833 by 2 first Kings of the Nguyen Dynasty (Gia Long & Minh Mang) and was the centre for Economy, Culture and Political Activities of Royal Family. You will spend time for your own Walking Tour in Imperial City to visit Flag Tower, 9 Holy Cannons, South Gate, Supreme Harmorny Palaces, 9 Dynastic Urns, Forbidden City.
Thien Mu Pagoda
OPTIONAL STOP: The oldest and most famous pagoda in Hue built from 1601 by the Founder of the Nguyen Family in this region (Nguyen Hoang). Pagoda was built and named so (Thien Mu Pagoda - Heavenly Lady Buddha Pagoda) after the story of local people when they dream about lady Buddha sitting on this hill.

5.00The experience was so great. Our driver (Hà Nguyễn) was beyond incredible. I am travelling with my grandmother and he went out of his way each time to be a gentleman and open our doors as well as help my grandmother walk. Couldn't recommend him enough

5.00I toured the Hue Imperial Palace, tombs, and pagoda with Thanh as my driver and guide, and he was excellent. He shared great insights and knowledge about each site and the surrounding areas, which really brought the history and culture to life. Thanh is a fantastic guide, and I would highly recommend him. If you’re planning this trip, I suggest starting early at the Imperial Palace when the temperature is cooler. With a well-planned schedule, it’s possible to visit the palace, tomb, and pagoda all in one day, but I split mine across two days and found it very enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience made even better with a knowledgeable guide.

5.00A very nice walk from the tombs! It was possible to choose the places we wanted to visit and it was beautiful. We had a very nice driver with whom we could have interesting conversations in English. Throughout he was very attentive and even offered us fruit!! Thanks, Bi! I highly recommend!
