Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve is a private protected natural area located in the middle of the Araucanian Andes, 860 km south of Santiago de Chile, in the commune of Panguipulli, in the Region of Los Rios. It borders Argentina to the east. It is characterized by the conservation of the southern huemul and three new types of ferns, in addition to the protection of flora and fauna and the care of local communities.

We will begin with a small tour of Lake Calafquén, where we appreciate its beauty and nature.

Here you can see the incredible waterfalls, such as the Huilo - Huilo waterfall and the puma jump.

Here you can meet and be close to the wonderful with the specimens of red deer.
At this stop you will be able to discover and tour the volcano museum and learn about the entire history of the evolution of energy and life since the big-bang.
Here you can meet and enjoy the Petermann brewery, also an exquisite beer experience. (Optional)
In this last stop you will be able to see Lake Pirihueico and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.

5.00Huilo-Huilo is such a special and magical place. So many beautiful waterfalls, forests... I highly recommend the tour. I was lucky to have Sebastián as a guide, who was very kind, attentive to everyone, and was passionate about his job. He made sure everyone was ok at all times.
