You will learn how to prepare an excellent artisanal ice cream that you can replicate at home. We are the only ice cream shop in southern Italy where you can prepare artisanal cones on the spot... a few simple ingredients to make artisanal wafers that look like real biscuits.
During the course we will be surrounded by splendid 60s music.

In the vintage laboratory of Coneria you will learn to make excellent artisanal ice creams and cones, in a wonderful 60s atmosphere. In the shop everything reminds you of the magical period of the "Dolce Vita": music, furniture, clothing and many other things. It will be like taking a dive into the past learning to prepare real Italian ice cream, as it was once made. At the end of the laboratory it will be wonderful to be able to taste everything you have produced!

5.00I highly recommend the Gelato making experience at Coneria Italiana! It was a complete joy and one of the highlights of my trip to Calabria. This is a local independent shop. Valentino, the owner, has taken his Gelateria to the next level. The ingredients that he uses are organic and pure and he sources from local suppliers. Coneria Italiana produces the highest quality gelato in a responsible manner, promoting zero waste practices. Valentino has developed the perfect recipe for handmade cones which are made at the shop daily. As a participant you will have the opportunity to work side by side with Valentino to make a few different flavors of gelato and the handmade cones. I learned a lot and had so much fun in the process! This is definitely a one of a kind experience..
