Cosenza

5.00Simone was a wonderful tour guide. We started with a wonderful lunch in the old part of the city. We then toured. He explained the history of the old and new parts of the city. We visited the duomo, walked the streets, answered our questions. We then made our way to Corso Mazzini where he provided explanations of the beautiful artwork that lines the mall. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Cosenza!

1.00Hotel booked thru booking.com and received confirmation mail. When reached hotel at night 10.30 in chennai, they said no rooms .

4.00Ernistina was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and respectful of local culture. For travelers who enjoy history, art, architecture, and authentic local food, this kind of tour is well worth it. If I were going back, I’d book a similar guide, maybe to Scila or somewhere similar. Our tour also included lunch which was delicious. Would I recommend? Yes. Particularly to first‑time visitors to Cosenza.

5.00Our guide Ernestina was absolutely amazing and full of knowledge. We were not rushed at any point and she answered all of our questions. It was extremely nice that a lot of people knew her and came up to say hello. We recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for local information!!

5.00This tour made me fall in love with Cosenza. The city is so much more beautiful than I had imagined. It is rich with history, culture, museums, beautiful architecture and wonderful cafès and restaurants. Ernestina is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She made a reservation for us at a restaurant that turned out to be one of the best meals we had in our entire stay. She made us fall so in love with this city that we are talking about moving there! I could not recommend this tour more. Five stars (if I could give it 10, I would!)

5.00The highlights on this trip are innumerable. From panoramic train rides to beautiful Lake cruises. To going on the steepest cog rail train in the world. To huge gondolas going up the side of the mountain face. I was fortunate enough to have an endearing couple as my guides John and deb Showcasing Switzerland. We had dinner at one of a kind place at 7,000ft. Muottas Muragi. Food was delicious!! To church Bells ringing in Andermatt and a trail face cut into the side of the mountain offered tremendous views of alps and North face of Eiger.!! My journey was like a living post card and I marveled at every turn.. All the best to everyone at Echo rails for such a great adventure!!

5.00Go2africa was the tour company I went with to Namibia for a 13 day tour. They were good, trip went smoothly. The camps and lodges were great. There was a lot of game meat offered. I am not a big meat eater, so I pretty much stuck to vegetarian. The tour I took only had 4 of us. It was great because with small groups one can get to know people. Note that there are extra activities that are not included in the final price. Cash is normally what is preferred. There are ATM's but one can also shop at Spar and ask for cash back. I would love to do another tour someday. Perhaps other area's of Namibia or Botswana. Who knows. I loved the trip. There is so much more to see of Namibia.

Our guides were Antoine and Stephane and I would recommend this tour and these guides for anyone interested in a comprehensive tour of the area and actions of the Band of Brothers. I went on the tour with my daughter and grandson and we loved it! We went on June 8, 2024. Bill Sullivan
