Novice or expert, you're guaranteed to learn things you did not know about Hitler and the Nazi movement. You'll see sites of mass rallies, book burnings and the sites of Hitler's most famous speeches. You'll view historic photos on an iPad and see before-and-after pictures of the mass destruction of Allied bombings on the city. It was in Munich (not Berlin) where Hitler rose to power. Here Hitler's shrapnel-pocked buildings still stand where you'll see Swastikas, Nazi helmets and the largest Nazi Eagles in Germany. Curt's tours are ongoing discussions of more than "when", but how and why it all began in Munich. He covers the military, economic and social aspects of Hitler's Germany.

5.00Curt was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the third reich, and its members. From the start in Munich to the ending in Berlin, he gave the behind the scenes and little known facts from the key players to the general public and how it affected them. He caters the tour to your perspective and knowledge, showing the actual streets and buildings where it all happened. A definite 5 star experience!

5.00We did the 3rd Reich your with Curt and it was the best!! We learned so much and enjoyed Curt’s little fun facts. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the history and shared so much info with us. His pictures were exceptional as well. Great tour highly recommend!!

5.00We had such a great day with Curt. He was kind, funny and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the city and the third reich. His stories were engaging and we really enjoyed the tour and his company. Even though the weather was a bit miserable he worked hard to keep us warm and dry while still seeing everything. The time flew by and he even spent extra time with us to show us even more and give us tips for our onward travels. We highly recommend his private tours. The personal attention and customized itinerary is the best way to see the city.

5.00Curt is the best guide we have ever had and we have travelled all over Europe. His ability to adjust his presentation to the level of knowledge of his group was amazing. My husband and I learned so much about not only Nazi Munich but the results after the war. Both Jim and I were surprised by much of the information Curt shared. I strongly recommend going on any of his tours.

5.00Curt was very generous with his time, which went quickly on this broad but often detailed sweep through Nazi history in Munich. Curt moved the discussion from top-down themes to as much detail as I wanted. He weaved in historical research whilst adding his own perspective on the times and the individuals involved. All up a thought-provoking tour that enabled me to engage with the history books in a more personal way.

5.00We were fortunate to be referred to Curt by a close friend. He was everything they said and more! Curt explained the history and made it come alive for us. Walking around Munich and visualizing the events during this historic time was really so enlightening. The tour was thorough, extremely informative and very enjoyable. We felt like we have made a new friend in Munich! Do yourself a favor and book this tour while you are in Munich.

5.009 of us, both family & friends, had a great tour with Curt. He met us at the designated location on time, and was considerate of two in our party who had knee and hip replacements. I found him to be very knowledgeable, and quite interesting. He explained things in a very easy way to follow, and the pictures shown were a great visual. Highly recommend him!!

5.00Curt was perfect for me . I wanted to see things at my own pace and cadence and he adjusted and allowed me to linger more in some places and move quicker through others . I knew a lot before I arrived but left with a deeper and more personal understanding of the times and the movements during the 1920s, 30s , and war years . Plus we had fantastic weather!!

5.00I am in the midst of a 2+ week trip through Europe with a very bright 20-year-old young man. On the day we arrived in Munich from the US, we did a Third Reich tour with Curt. Curt held the interest of both this 50-year-old male and my young adult co-traveler in our jet lagged states. He provided a truly outstanding overview of Nazi history in Munich and showed us many interesting sites. Curt was particularly great at interacting with the 20-year-old, encouraging him to share his knowledge and avoiding being dismissive when the 20-year-old wasn't quite right on a fact or two. Highly recommend!
