On the edge of the city, opposite a former mental asylum, is a morbid museum. Explore eerie Ipswich General Cemetery on this 2 hour guided historic ghost tour. Hear stories of a boy made of stone, forgotten graves, a haunted castle, convicts and bushrangers.

Ipswich’s original historic ghost tours (est.1998) operated by haunted-historian Jack Sim, author of Ghost Trails Series HAUNTED IPSWICH.

Ghost Tours are not suitable for children under 10 years

All children under and including the age of 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

All travellers must have be fully vaccinated to attend the tour (unless you have a valid exemption or under the age of 16) - Proof of vaccination or exemption must be shown at check-in or you will be refused entry. No refund granted.

Clients must be wearing flat-soled enclosed shoes. If you are wearing thongs, sandals or high heels you will be declined entry. No refund granted.

Each guest is required to bring their own torch. Torch apps on smart phones are suitable.

This was a great experience for me and my 10 year old son. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was an enjoyable mix of history and spooky stories. The other people in our group were very friendly and kind to my young boy. He was the only child. Highly recommend as a family night out. We are planning our next trip.

Had a great time with my family on the haunted cemetery tour. Guides are well spoken and knowledgeable of local history. A flash light and mosquito repellent is a must. Looking forward to doing another tour in the future!

This is such a fun and interesting experience! This is the third tour I’ve been on with Ghost Tours Australia and I can’t wait to experience more! Molly is an excellent guide and the stories are so informative, I highly recommend this tour!

Molly was our tour guide and she shared a great deal of knowledge regarding the history of the area, and stories about the characters buried in the cemetery. It was very entertaining and I highly recommend the tour for both singles and families. <3

Was mine and my daughters first experience for a tour like this definitely recommend doing one will be doing more in the future

Molly was a fabulous guide at the Ipswich cemetery. Her knowledge of the area, and the local ghost stories was very in-depth. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her captivating tales. I will definitely be booking another one of her tours.

Hearing the stories and exploring the cemetery. Reading the old tombstones gave us a glimpse into the lives of people who are long gone and their story to help keep them alive.
