This is a nice relaxing experience where you can take time out of your holiday schedule.
All equipment and ingredients supplied.
Dietary requirements can be catered for, just let me know in advance.

Join me in my Victorian Dublin home for a real Irish food & culture experience with a warm Irish welcome. First, we'll relax with tea or coffee before baking. As we bake, I'll share my passion for Irish food and culture, giving you a unique insight into Irish life. As a diet & wellness coach, I'll offer cooking tips for a healthier, happier lifestyle. Choose between baking delicious Irish scones using a traditional recipe OR my Granny’s beloved Apple Cake, made the authentic Irish way. As your creation bakes, we’ll chat about Irish food, culture, and traditions. Then, we’ll sit down to enjoy your warm, homemade treat. If you’ve made scones, you’ll savor them with fresh cream, butter, and jam—simply delicious. If you’ve chosen apple cake, the spiced flavors with a dollop of fresh cream will be divine! This hands-on experience is suitable for ages 8+ and perfect for families. Dietary requirements can be catered for—just let me know in advance. You can take home extra baking, and I’ll send you the recipes. This experience requires a minimum of 2 people.

5.00Emily is so friendly and welcoming. She is very easy to talk to, which made the experience very enjoyable. We baked delicious scones and an apple cake. We then sat at a table for tea. My adult daughter and I really enjoyed talking with her about Irish language and culture. I would highly recommend this experience when you visit Dublin.

5.00What a beautiful experience, Emily is very warm, attentive and she knows her art well to cook delicious scones and apple cakes! Garnished with jams and cream and accompanied by excellent coffee, what a delight. I finally learned to perfect my technique thanks to Emilie. I also thank my host for our very interesting and rewarding conversations about life, Dublin history and shopping tips ☺️ and the icing on the cake, I brought back scones and cake, I highly recommend!

5.00Emily was a delight! She was a great host, a fantastic teacher, and a lot of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience. Our whole group had a blast even the non bakers. It was more than just baking. Emily taught us a lot about Ireland and that rounded out the experience nicely. We could not have been happier. It was worth every penny. We took taxis to and from her house which was also easy. There area she lives in is quiet and cute, and doing this class in her home made it even better. 5 stars. Chef’s kiss!

5.00Emily was a delight! Great environment, warm and welcoming and a genuine good laugh. As for the experience itself, my daughter and myself enjoyed every moment. We learnt a few golden nuggets of information that make an attempt to a success. 5.00Our experience with learning to bake scones and apple cake exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed into Emily's home with coffee, tea and brown bread where we were able to meet the other guests and get acquainted with Emily. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about down home Irish traditions.
