5.00Just had a beautiful half day boat tour with Captain Frano around the islands off Dubrovnik. We were treated to drinks, nibbles and his incredible knowledge of sailing the seas here and abroad. He kept us entertained with local historic and cultural info. Frank is a superb host and we can’t think of a better way to see this beautiful coastline in such a fun way!

5.00It was captain Frano’s first trip of the season and ended up just being my wife and me. Beautiful new sailboat, two heads, lots of room topside and below. We sailed to two islands, electing to skip the nearby third island so that we could have more sailing time. It’s pretty magical when the engine is shut off and it’s just the wind. Our captain is very experienced having been First Officer on Princess cruise ships. He was very personable, shared history and stories, and prepared an excellent tray of snacks and wine. Frano booked a lunch reservation for us for the only open restaurant in an island and it was excellent. Such a great time, reasonable cost, great captain, beautiful boat.

5.00Excellent day sailing with our very experienced and interesting Captain - Frano. Rain in the morning, but the boat was well protected with a canopy over the seating area and the cabin always available if wanted. We had plenty of time at each of our island stops. Note that as the end of the season (11/1) nears, more establishments will be closed but we still found a good reception. Midday through afternoon, favorable weather and smooth sailing. Highlight of our trip was Captain Frano - very experienced, capable sailor; very knowledgeable about area history and island lore and an interesting conversationalist. Superb way to spend the day.
Unforgettable cruise to Dubrovnik

5.00We (my daughter, my wife and I) have booked a day sailing with Frano (Francois in French) from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik, for the best spots around Dubrovnik, the most beautiful beaches, Kalamota Island, Šunj Beach (island of Lopud) fine sand magnification by the way even the big yachts stop there (great). Then we had lunch in the bays of Otok Lopud Beach where the stars (Shaquille Michael Jordan, David Beckham, Michael Jordan...) go in the restaurant Obala, you choose your fish and a super cook prepares it for you (delicious). The trip on the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 was an intense and unforgettable sailing experience. Frano is super nice skipper and great very good teacher, we had lunch with him a really nice guy! Well I stop there because there is enough to make novel. We really recommend. Promised the next holiday in Dubrovnik we will do a sailing with Frano.

He is highly experienced and has a safety first mindset, but is also very laidback, easy going and accommodating, making him the perfect choice for your day on the water.When we come back, we will definitely do it again. Thank You Captain!

5.00A brilliant day. Thank you Frano. Just what we wanted - a half day on a sail boat around the beautiful islands and a chance to swim in the lovely warm clear water. Despite there not being much wind we did make some of our journey under sail and experienced that peaceful silence punctuated only by the lap of the water as we moved along. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a half day trip with Frano on his beautiful new boat and it was a fantastic day out. The boat is well equipped, spacious and clean. Frano provides drinks, beach towels and snorkel gear. Unlike so many other tours around here, there is the chance to actually sail under just windpower, through the gorgeous waters of the Adriatic. Frano is friendly and accommodating to all your needs, and is an excellent skipper. For a private tour, his charges are very reasonable but small groups tours are also available. Could not recommend this tour highly enough.

5.00We had an amazing day sail with Frano and truly enjoyed every minute of it! We set off from Marina Frapa on his pristine Jeanneau Sun Odyssey. The boat was spotless and well-maintained. Frano, our captain, was incredibly friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the nearby islands and the Dubrovnik coastline. At our request, he removed the cockpit cover so we could soak up the sun and enjoy the sea breeze. The boat came fully equipped with snorkeling gear, towels, and plenty of refreshments, which Frano kindly offered throughout the trip. The weather was ideal—steady wind early on and a bit of a challenge on the way back with 20-knot headwinds and 5–6 foot waves. We sailed close-hauled and on beam reach tacks, and the boat handled it all perfectly. Frano even let me take the helm, which was a great opportunity as I work toward my sailing certification. I can’t recommend Dubrovnik Sailing Tours enough! Whether you're an experienced sailor or just want to relax and enjoy the Adriatic coastline, you're in for a fantastic experience with excellent company. They also offer overnight and multi-day trips, which we’d love to try next time.

5.00Thank you to Captain Frano for a wonderful experience. The yacht is beautiful and provides a relaxing journey to the lovely islands near Dubrovnik. I highly recommend Frano as your tour guide and Captain, who has 20 plus years experience working as a deck officer for cruise ships. Knowing we were safe in his capable hands, and with his intimate knowledge of the Dalmatian coast, we got a personalized experience that was very enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend Dubrovnik Sailing Tours.

5.00We went on low season, so it was only me and my wife, so the experience was excellent. We good nice snacks drinks and because of our wedding anniversary we got a bootle. We also played or music and enjoyed.
