Blue Mosque
1- BLUE MOSQUE : Blue mosque is a 400 hundred year old imperial mosque which was built by the Ottoman Empire in the 17.th century AD. • It is famous for its twenty thousands blue ceramic tiles. Inside, you are going to see the beautiful blue tiles of the mosque together stained glass windows . • There is a dress code for visiting the mosque; Women need headscarf and long dresses that cover the knee and men also need long pants to cover their knees
Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque
2- HAGIA SOPHIA : Hagia Sophia is one of the oldest cathedrals of Constantinople/ Istanbul and it was built by the Eastern Roman Empire in the 6th century AD. And still standing for 1500 years with its huge dome. • It was used as a cathedral for about a thousand years during the Roman period and then it was converted into a mosque after the Ottoman Empire took over the city in 1453 • Today it is partly used as a mosque and museum together. Inside, you will see icons and motifs from the Roman period and additions from the Ottoman period •There is a dress code to enter. Women need headscarf and long dresses that cover the knee and men also need pants to cover their knees

5.00Our guide for this tour was Fuat. He’s not only is an excellent educator, he is also very sensitive to the needs of the people in his tour. We are both in our 80s. Fuat paced the tour to our speed of walking. He also was most helpful getting us a taxi to get back to our hotel. When you choose this tour, you need to ask for this wonderful tour guide.

5.00I am so happy I did this tour. I was a solo traveler, my lovely guide Sude took me to all the high lights in Old City. So many history and a lot of walking as well. Highly recommended!

5.00Hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! If you want to see most of the main historical sites in Istanbul during a short period of time I highly recommend this tour. Sude was my local tour guide and she is a highly trained professional proficient and very passionate about the history of her city. She picked me up from my hotel and conducted a highly engaging walking tour which provided the necessary cultural, historical and geographic context of all the sites visited. The tour was from 9:00 AM until a little after 3PM she gave plenty of time to enjoy each area while making sure that we covered all of the listed monuments and even threw in some extras. Sude was very friendly, always eager to show me the local traditions, short cuts and of course the amazing food. As an official tour guide Sude had cut the line access to all of the sites which made it easy to buy the entrance tickets and access the areas quickly helping me to maximize my time here! This tour is great for anyone wanting an in depth tour of the city’s most famous highlights… definitely great for solo travelers and small groups! Be sure to ask for Sude she is the best!

5.00Fuat was an excellent guide. He tailored our tour to the places we had not seen yet (Topkapi Palace, The Cistern, a local Turkish rug manufacturer, The Grand Bizarre, and a local pottery maker). I would highly recommend him.

5.00We were picked up by our tour guide, Yasin, at our hotel. The tour started at 9.00 and ended around 2pm. We walked a lot today while receiving sufficient knowledge. Most of the time was spent in the Topkapi Palace and have walked in most of the rooms and parts. Highly recommend the tour and the guide. Wear comfortable shoes for walking and have water with you.

Our guide had wonderful energy, and went above and beyond the typical tour, giving us good tips on where to eat and where to shop in addition to a wealth of history and knowledge about the sites themselves. This was a perfect primer for some of the most visited sites in Istanbul
