5.00Serçan was an outstanding guide and made the experience truly memorable. He thoughtfully tailored the tour to our interests, introduced us to wonderful food and charming spots we never would have discovered on our own, and shared fascinating insights into the city and its culture along the way. The pacing and length of the tour were perfect, and we especially appreciated the helpful tips he offered for the rest of our time in the city. Considering the price included meals and the ferry, it was an exceptional value. Highly recommended.

Mert clearly knows his stuff and loves his job - he took us to places where we could try different foods and learn more about Turkey and its’ culture. 5.00Mert was very personable, and attentive to our requests and curiosities. He offered many historical insights to compliment our stroll. We had a great time with him on this tour which covered a wide swath of the city center, including the Asian portion, tasting foods from many different locations - wonderful variety along with good conversation.

5.00We did a food tour with Sercan yesterday. Our two teenage kids, my wife, and myself, all had a great time. Sercan was very helpful in explaining many aspects of turquish culture and history, and never seemed tired of answering our endless questions. The food was delicious and it was a really fantastic way to discover the city for our first time in Istanbul ! We would definitely recommend it !

From bustling markets to hidden local gems, every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and delicious. What truly made the tour exceptional was our guide, Mert. He was incredibly personable, warm, and knowledgeable. Beyond introducing us to amazing local dishes, he shared fascinating history about the beautiful city of Istanbul — from its Byzantine roots to the Ottoman influences that still shape the culture today. His storytelling brought the streets, neighborhoods, and flavors to life in a way we never could have experienced on our own. We loved crossing between continents and seeing how the vibe, food, and atmosphere subtly change from one side of the city to the other. It felt like we experienced two worlds in one day. If you’re visiting Istanbul and want to taste authentic cuisine while learning about the city’s rich history and culture, this private tour with Mert is an absolute must. Highly recommend!
