  This is a day-long tour but we were glad we took this tour as an introduction to the history, culture and life of people in Istria Peninsula. Rovinj, Motovun and Groznjan are must-see places for the first time visitors in Istria. Dennis our tour guide went above and beyond to provide much information about the tour. He is knowleadgeable and patiently answered all of pur questions with kindness. We felt that he is more to our friends than a tour guide. We highly recommended Dennis as a tour guide. He took care of our group eating in Mondo, also a highly recommended restaurant in Motovun, thanks to Dennis recommendation.

  This one day tour is a great way to see some of the highlights of Istria, especially if you don’t have your own transportation. The walking tour of Rovinj was very nice as was the walking tour of Motovun. The tour of Grožnjan was a bit rushed, but then the weather turned cool and wet at that time. We had free time in each place with time for lunch in Motovun where we also had a small truffle tasting. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and kept things on schedule. If you take this tour, it would be a good idea to research the few restaurants in Motovun prior to the tour.

  The communication was great! Our tour started on time and our tour guide was super informative. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge about the regions history. The overall experience was better than we expected!

  Denis gave a great tour at all locations with a great mix of history and culture to give you a great feel for life in Istria. Very informative but also some free time to let you further explore areas of interest, take a break at cafe, or get some shopping in. Denis went above and beyond to show great hospitality and get reservations at wonderful restaurant, Mondo, in Motovun so we could have delicious meal featuring the local truffles.

  A small group tour of three highlights of the Istrian peninsula. Our guide Denis was excellent, he looked after the group really well and provided an informative narrative over the full day. Top tips: join Denis for the meal in Motovun (truly excellent), climb the tower (it'll be obvious), explore the back streets (you'll get time for this)... and try the truffles. Recommended!

  Perfectly organized, quick answering of questions in advance, very dedicated and extremely competent guide, who provided comprehensive information about history, culture, country and people, really interesting places and a very good recommendation for lunch made the day a perfect experience. Many thanks to our tour guide, whom we can highly recommend.

  Our tour guide did not have great English skills, so the information was disorganized. He was friendly and professional, but I was disappointed.

  What a fabulous trip! Collected as arranged & on time, mini bus was great & Denis our Tour Leader was exceptional. His knowledge & history of the area was great & he knew everything we needed to know, what we also loved was his information about living in Istria today, a fabulous chap, could have chatted to him for days. The time in each place was judged perfectly, nothing was rushed or too long, Groznjan was gorgeous & so pretty, with stunning views over the hills, Motovun was just slightly bigger but still unique. The truffle tasting was great & such a surprise about the different tastes, it was also not pushy. We stopped for a great lunch in Motovun. Rovinj was near where we were staying so we had visited before but we still learnt & noticed far more than we had on our own. An exceptional tour, with an exceptional company, don’t hesitate to book this trip.

• Must do trip for a day away from the beach for some amazing scenery and history
