We offer not only a trivial trip to Jalapão, but an experience to mark your life, as we have the expertise of biologists, tourism managers and national and local tourism guides. We also include direct contact with the jalapoeira culture and encourage the local economy by practicing Community Based Tourism.
This expedition is complete, you are entitled to accommodation in a hotel in Palmas on your arrival to go to Jalapão and on your return from Jalapão to return home.
We will look after you like a member of the family, looking after your safety and comfort from your arrival until your departure.

The entrance portal to Jalapão by air is Palmas, the capital of Tocantins, in this way, the day before or in the morning of the departure date of the expedition, and at the agreed time, we will pick you up at the airport of Palmas and carry out the transfer to the Select Hotel, starting our services. We suggest taking the day to get to know the city.

Pedra Furada Jalapao
At 8 am, after breakfast, we will leave Taquaruçu and head towards Ponte Alta, the Portal do Jalapão, around 10:30 am we will know a completely different place, we will experience the earth element in its most beautiful form, Morro da Pedra Furada.
Lagoa Do Japones
After lunch, we will visit Lagoa do Japonês, a lagoon with crystal clear water and emerald and blue tourmaline tones. We will return to Ponte Alta in the late afternoon, where we will stay and have dinner around 8pm.
Crossing Portal do Jalapão to Coração do Jalapão

Lunch at the Quilombola Rio Novo Community, where we will have lunch at Cleuza's restaurant, a local resident.
Canion Sussuapara
At 8 am, after breakfast, we will leave Ponte Alta and cross the Portal do Jalapão to Coração do Jalapão, with a total of 190 km of dirt road, on the way we will visit the Sussuapara Canyon, a sanctuary, where it always seems to be raining.
Praias do Rio novo
Around noon we will be at the Rio Novo Quilombola Community. Here, the experience of Paçoca de Carne Seca will take place. After a few minutes of rest, we will discover a beautiful little beach with drinking water.
Dunas do Jalapao
We will end the day in a surreal place, the incredible Dunas do Jalapão, and if all goes well, we will see a beautiful sunset. We'll head to the inn in Mateiros, and around 8 pm we'll have dinner.

Lunch will be at the Quilombola Mumbuca Community, at the Viola de Buriti restaurant, with the hostess Josi and her daughters.
Fervedouro Encontro das Aguas
After breakfast, we will leave eager to discover the famous fervedouros. We will carry out a gradual sequence of boilers, from the weakest to the strongest in water pressure, and our suggestion is: “enter all the boilers, each one is special”.
Fervedouro Buritizinho
The most beautiful for photography.
Fervedouro do Buriti
Boiler of odd beauty, from Lino's family. All native to the region.
Fervedouro do Ceica
The oldest brewery, first open to the public. A singular beauty and a great floating experience.
Waterfall and Boilers + Experience of Coffee with Rapadura

Serra do Espirito Santo
For out door walk lovers, the day will start at 4 am. Today we will wake up early, it will be a spectacular dawn, we will get in the vehicle and head towards Serra do Espírito Santo, with clear weather we will see the most impressive sky in Brazil, with more stars than anyone can count. The ascent is short, about 750m, but challenging, a medium to difficult level, everything going well, we will watch a beautiful dawn on top of the Serra. Around 8:00 am we will be at the inn having breakfast.
Formiga Waterfall
When we least expect it, we will be resting in the waters of the most beautiful waterfall in Jalapão, Cachoeira do Formiga, and at that moment everything will be worth it.
Fervedouro Das Macaubas
After a good bath, Fervedouro Macaúbas will be our next destination, with a unique feeling among the fervedouros.
Here we will have lunch at the association, managed by the families of the community, where each lunch is held by one family at a time. We will also have the experience of coffee with brown sugar.
Fervedouro Bela Vista
The day will end in the waters of Fervedouro Bela Vista, the largest and best known in Jalapão. We will then head to the inn and around 20:00 dinner will be served.

Easy level 08:30 Preparation New adventurers wear mandatory equipment and receive instructions on the activity. 09:00 Departure. Entrance of the boat in the river with all on board. 11:30 Arrival by the river at Praia das Araras. End of activity. We left São Félix, drove 10 km and arrived at the rafting entrance. We left the cars, got into the boats and continued along the river for 12 km to the starting point. The rafting departure point is 18 km from the city center. If you choose to take this tour, it does not change the others on the itinerary, which will be suitable.
Fervedouro Do Alecrim
Today will be a special day, it will be our farewell. At around 8 am, right after breakfast, we will leave the inn and head to Fervedouro do Alecrim, the oldest in São Félix. For those going rafting, you can do this activity the night before.
Cachoeira das Araras
Then we go to Cachoeira da Arara, and here it will be our farewell to the waters of Jalapão.
Serra da Catedral do Jalapao - RPPN
At 3 pm, we will pass in front of Morro da Catedral and take photographs to remember this expedition forever, and at the end of the afternoon we will be in Palmas. Free dinner.

5.00Excellent work from Cerrado Dourado, great guesthouses, food, transportation. Personalized care. Our guide was Tato, very attentive, patient, polite, always well disposed and fun. Congratulations on the quality of the professionals, the organization and transparency!
I really liked to dive with snorkel and dive mask, which I carried, in rivers with stones avoid getting hurt!

5.00Quiet and safe trip, where everything went as planned. The only suggestion and give more time in the coffee time of the first day, restaurant opens at 6:30 hs and departure to the Jalapão 6:45 hs.

5.00I made the best trip of my life with this agency! I feel that I will never have enough words to describe what this expedition is for Jalapão and thank the whole team, especially Naldera, who was a very patient guide, is a very wise, kind guy, and the best photographer of the trip😄. Naldera has such extensive knowledge about the region, from what comes from nature to the communities that formed there, and taught me a lot! Jalapão is not only what we see beautiful in the photos, it has a lot of history, many important communities, many animals, a lot of nature besides the boilers, and the best food in Brazil!! I think I will never be able to explain in words what I was feeling living in that place. This trip touched me a lot, in a way that I did not feel anywhere else, and this feeling is very special to me! I thank everyone for providing me with all this. 5.00It was wonderful, I really am between not having words and having many at the same time. Jalapão goes far beyond the fervedours. It was an amazing journey, it surprised me in many ways, I learned a lot that I had no knowledge of, things that I didn’t even think of before and saw here. The guide Naldera was very kind and is a very wise Cover, taught us too much. I am fascinated with everything I have lived and learned. We had experiences with residents of the region, we knew stories of incredible people, we had contact with things that would not be possible if it wasn’t a trip with the agency. This sustainable work of being present in communities in the region supporting work and strengthening families is very important and made all the difference. It is an experience that I will take to life and share with everyone who goes through my life.
