Marche Jean-talon (jean-talon Market)
Jean-Talon Market is an established open-air farmer's market with many vendors selling produce, meats, cheeses, fish & baked goods. It is the largest market in Montreal and one of the largest open-air markets in North America.
A historic fire station originally constructed in the early 20th century that served as a key part of Montreal’s fire protection services. The building itself is an architectural gem, with its distinctive red brick façade and classic design reflecting the civic pride of the time.

We had such a delightful tour with Eric. He was so kind and considerate, he even brought a table cloth to use. All his insight and trivia questions were a delightful addition to the tour. All the food was delicious and he was quick to accommodate any likings. Felt like we were touring with a family member.

Tour guide showed up 5 minutes late. Food was at most ranked a C. Guide knew little or nothing of the area or Montreal. Gave her a $20 tip because she was trying, but failing.

Nice way to discover the food scene in Little Italy and the Jean-Talon market!! Lucas was a great tour guide. He has a wealth of information on Montreal food establishments and recommendations. The samplings were delicious and there was plenty too taste.
