  Fun activity- good lunch. It was quite a walk up hill in the mud to lunch facility for senior citizens. Good cultural experience.

  Heyy Vaturova girl here...Omgoodness where do I start.......this was a 10 outta 10 tour no regret! I love how clear Una and driver were in explaining all the sites. Really Amazing! I had my first ever bowl of kava, it made my tongue feel weird hahaha but I love it. Cave tour guy did a great job. Explanation were very loud and clear...very funny guy..he kept picking on me "yes Vaturova girl any questions" hahaha. It was a really fun experience and I'd love to come again soon. Love the team work. Everyone was just so kind and fun to hang out with even the priest that accepted our sevusevu. Thank you so much for this great and fun experience. I recommend this 10 outta 10.   Good jet boating, Leps was an awesome captain and shared lots of his local knowledge. Village visit was rather long especially if you are not into kava!

  We joined because of the reviews. We left dumbfounded by the reviews. We did 7 excursions and this is the only one that we not only wouldn’t repeat, would have left early if we could. We visited the real Fiji 22 years ago. 8 of us went to a working village, visited with the people and had a ceremony including kava. We brought school supplies that were truly not expected but effusively appreciated. The Sigatoka tour group outnumbered the village. 50 to 60 tourists and maybe 30 to 40 locals. The village seemed deserted except for those brought in from a neighboring village. The ceremony was fine but seemed performative. All in all it was much like a commercial Hawaiian luau. The end of the ceremony was set aside for giving of gifts. We were told if we didn’t have gifts we could give money but it was not required. We were told “nothing is expected, only accepted”. Hard to believe as they sat collecting. The jet boat ride itself was underwhelming. We’ve been on jet boats in nearby New Zealand. That was a ride. This was a slow spin. Maybe it just wasn’t for us but I wish we’d known.

  This was a lot of fun. The visit to the village was a great experience with the kava ceremony, a top lunch plus singing and dancing. The Chief, Elders and family were welcoming and sharing. The speedboat ride felt like a bonus on top and again, a lot of fun. Captain Laps was a top guide and host. Don't forget to take some gifts for the village - rugby balls are good. Overall a top day and incredibly good value for money.

  Captain Fini was excellent learnt so much from talking with her, the jet boating was awesome great spins! and great time had by all my family. The village lunch was so eye opening - the people of Rarabahaga were lovely the food delicious, the singing and dancing a memory that will never be forgotten. This is a must do when in Fiji !!

  If the idea of skimming across a shallow riverbed at a speed that stretches your smile from ear to ear excites you, then the Sigatoka River jet boat ride has your name written all over it. The journey’s final destination is a traditional Fijian village tucked deep within the jungle clad mountains. The welcome is warm, the ceremonies authentic, and the locally prepared food is unforgettable. But make no mistake, it’s the jet boat ride itself that truly elevates this experience. We’ve been on jet boat rides before, you know, the kind where the driver speeds along only to spin the boat so fast you might need to retrieve your stomach from behind you. This one shares the same adrenaline, but it is different. More raw, more intimate with the river itself. The Sigatoka River is fed by tropical rains and can swell wide and wild. But on this particular day, it was narrow, shallow, almost playful. The boat was roughly three metres wide, offering comfortable seating yet the river was sometimes only four metres across, and in places no deeper than your knee. So what do you get when you combine powerful engines, tight river channels, shallow water, high speed, and a few hair raising turns? One seriously thrilling ride. Speed, excitement, breathtaking scenery, and genuine Fijian hospitality all come together to create an adventure that’s as memorable as it is exhilarating.

  A wonderful and immersive Fijian cultural experience, captain hot laps gave us a fun ride on the jet boat as well as an insight in to village life. Really enjoyed meeting the locals and taking part in their customs. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone travelling to fiji

  Would highly recommend. It was an incredible day. A great mix of education, authentic experience and fun. Made easy by staff from start to finish. ‘Captain Laps’ was knowledgeable on history and tradition, and a was also a great captain who was good for a laugh and did some incredible 360s in the boat. The villagers were welcoming and the local kids seemed to love the visit. Bring gifts for them if you can.
