  Amazing experience. Captain Finny and Sadam-the good one, were great guides. Would definitely recommend. Meeting the villagers gave me a great taste of what Fiji is actually like.

  This was a fantastic experience and an amazing way to see the real Fiji. Our bus and boat was driven by Captain Ace who was great. Going to a real village and being welcomed by them all was a truly unique experience. There was a welcome ceremony with the village chief and everyone else, a Kava ceremony, lunch cooked by the village mums finished off with some Fijian singing and dancing. Great fun. On the way back the jet boat picked up the pace and did a few 360’s which was also fun and cooled us down a bit. We did it as a family of four with two teenagers who both loved it also. Definitely worth the price if you are having reservations. Highly recommend. Bula!

  This half day tour has it all! We were picked up from our hotel and taken to some Sigatoka shops to check-in, where ladies were given an included sarong to wear in the village. Then we hopped on the bus to the river, where our jet boats were waiting. We had Captain Leps (hot laps!) who paused on the river at different points to teach us about the land and culture - amazing! We then went into a local village, where we were treated to a tour and explanation of traditions, kava ceremony, beautiful lunch and wonderful and cultural singing and dancing. We wished we’d known it was common to take gifts to the villages, but it was beautiful to see so many people were aware and had rugby balls, school resources and money as donations. It was truly a beautiful day. The jet boat ride home was adventurous, with 4 360* spins where we got soaked! So much fun.

  What a fun filled and well organised day. From resort pick up to drop off. We were well looked after and felt very welcomed by the tour people and the villagers. The bus trip was in a well appointed air conditioned bus. Safety life vests for jet boats including very large sizing. Nothing was too much trouble. My husband has arthritis in one knee and struggled onto the boat, up the village hill and sitting in the floor. But, and I say this with heartfelt love, he was looked after, assisted and cared for without question. The rebrand fanned him when he was too hot, and one of the ladies continued. They made sure he experienced everything as well as anyone. Captain “Fabulous Freddy” driving on your “second day”, wonderful. Adrenilin, 360 spins amazing. Captain Jack, you were so helpful and educational. I HIGHLY

  Fun activity- good lunch. It was quite a walk up hill in the mud to lunch facility for senior citizens. Good cultural experience.

  Heyy Vaturova girl here...Omgoodness where do I start.......this was a 10 outta 10 tour no regret! I love how clear Una and driver were in explaining all the sites. Really Amazing! I had my first ever bowl of kava, it made my tongue feel weird hahaha but I love it. Cave tour guy did a great job. Explanation were very loud and clear...very funny guy..he kept picking on me "yes Vaturova girl any questions" hahaha. It was a really fun experience and I'd love to come again soon. Love the team work. Everyone was just so kind and fun to hang out with even the priest that accepted our sevusevu. Thank you so much for this great and fun experience. I recommend this 10 outta 10.   Good jet boating, Leps was an awesome captain and shared lots of his local knowledge. Village visit was rather long especially if you are not into kava!

  We joined because of the reviews. We left dumbfounded by the reviews. We did 7 excursions and this is the only one that we not only wouldn’t repeat, would have left early if we could. We visited the real Fiji 22 years ago. 8 of us went to a working village, visited with the people and had a ceremony including kava. We brought school supplies that were truly not expected but effusively appreciated. The Sigatoka tour group outnumbered the village. 50 to 60 tourists and maybe 30 to 40 locals. The village seemed deserted except for those brought in from a neighboring village. The ceremony was fine but seemed performative. All in all it was much like a commercial Hawaiian luau. The end of the ceremony was set aside for giving of gifts. We were told if we didn’t have gifts we could give money but it was not required. We were told “nothing is expected, only accepted”. Hard to believe as they sat collecting. The jet boat ride itself was underwhelming. We’ve been on jet boats in nearby New Zealand. That was a ride. This was a slow spin. Maybe it just wasn’t for us but I wish we’d known.
