Jhalana Panther Safari is a safari dedicated to see one of the most elusive cats of the World: The Panther (Panthera Pardus). It offers a unique wildlife and off roading experience of an urban Jungle with its Wild inhabitants in Safari Vehicle. The Place is unique as it is Rajasthans First Project Leopard Site and also the only conservancy reserve dedicated to Leopards in India. The Reserve is home to over 20 Mammal Species, 160Bird Species, 16 Reptile Species and is very rich in bio-diversity and has some very rare critically ENdangered Tree Species too. Main attractions of the park are Leopards ,Hyenas, Desert Fox, Snake eyed Lacerta, Monitor Lizards, Hanuman Langurs, Blue Bulls, Desert Gerbils etc.

Winter season - Winters are cold here and temperature can reach upto 2 Degrees. Warm Clothing is recommended from November to February.

Rainy Season : Rains are scanty here but if you are travelling during the rainy season from July to august please wear full length clothes to avoid mosquito's. .

See Leopards in the Wild and have a Bird Eye view of the Jungle. Transportation will be from city in open 4wd vehicles and you will reach at the entry gate the driver will be informing you the naturalist going along with you. After the safari you will be dropped back to the hotel.

3.00The tour started of with us being picked from our hotel in an open air jeep which was okay untill it started raining. The safari was okay. We did not see any leopards but that is not too surprising due to it being the monsoons. We did see some birds and antelopes. My main issues were with the guide not knowing enough English for more than 1-2 words the name of the birds and a line about it. I would have given this 4 stars regardless but what dropped it further was not having a vehicle with a covered roof for the trip to the safari area and back. It makes no sense during the moonsoon months. Even with umbrellas (that we brought from home) we were completely soaked (as well as money in our wallets) due to the rains. Unfortunately there does not appear to be another way to see the area. I would recommend getting a hotel car to pick abs drop you off.

4.00I was happy to see a wild leopard. And especially lucky to see it eating a dead deer. The park itself is a little underwhelming and commercialized for my liking

2.002 hours drive without seeing much animals and no leopard, landscape is so so. Tour guide doesnt speak English although tour description mentioned English speaking guide. Waste of time and money.

3.00Going to the park was a great experience. Even though we did not spot a leopard, we all enjoyed the safari, nature, and other animal sightings. The excursion was not as advertised though - not a private tour and no real English speaking guide. But alas a good experience overall.
