This wildlife viewing excursion takes you on a journey to see two of the major highlights in Southeast Alaska. You will be guided to the Mendenhall Glacier for a 45 minute self-exploration followed by our wildlife whale watching tour. Once you have had a chance to explore the glacier park on your own, we will take you to the whale watching harbor where you will come aboard one of our state-of-the-art vessels to search for majestic Humpback Whales and other water wildlife we may find along the way. Our expert captains and naturalists are so familiar with these amazing creatures that we can actually guarantee you will see whales in their natural habitat from a safe distance. Our boats are equipped with restrooms and heated cabins to make this journey extra comfortable. Our fleet of fast jet boats all have plenty of outdoor deck space so you can choose to watch the wildlife in the open air or from the comfort of the cabin. This is an Alaskan adventure you won't want to miss!

Such a great crew-Larry, Nate and Monica. We saw Orcas, Playful Humpbacks and a seal. Nate was very knowledgeable and great at answering all questions. This was an amazing excursion from our bus driver Aaron who drove us to Mendenhall glacier and then to whale watching. An experience we will never forget!

Had the Dream Team for our crew- Michelle, Sophie and Ash and driver- Joseph. All were very knowledgeable, informative and personable. Saw our first whale pretty quickly but left that area as they realized that whale was not doing much for us to see. As we headed for other sightings- many of the other boats turned and went another way. I thought we would to but we continued on course. Captain Michelle knew an area where a momma (Flame) and her new calf (Match) liked to hang out. Match sure gave us a show!!! Unlike anything we’ve ever seen. We also saw other calves playing in that area. Simply, the best!!!

We were so lucky to see orcas, humpbacks and sea lions. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was an enjoyable experience, despite the cold rain.

Be prepared to see lots of whales-they even guarantee it. The first stop to Mendenhall glacier was great, just wish we had been given enough time to do the two mile trek to the waterfall. Had to settle for swing it from the distance. However, the whale tour with Nate, Monica and Captain James was phenomenal! We were able to watch a pod of Orcas for quite a while before finding the juvenile humpback whale. This guy breeched over and over again-just incredible! Great excursion, and we would definitely do it again!

Awesome experience, Nate, James, and Monica put us on the Whales. Even better we hung out with a family of Orcas and watched a breeching Whale.
