Jvari Monastery

Jvari Monastery- VI century church and monastery, located in the east of Mtskheta, at the mouth of the river Mtkvari and Aragvi, on the rocky mountain peak. Jvari Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here there is kept the Robe of Jesus Christ which had been brought from Jerusalem in I c. A true architectural masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages. Built on a hilltop, the views it affords of Mtskheta and the Aragvi and Mtkvari Rivers are breathtaking and great for selfies!

Ananuri fortress complex

You will drive north towards the Northern Caucasus along the well-known Georgian Military Road The first stop will be at the Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. The complex features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jinvali reservoir. The buildings included in the complex are: upper and lower fortress, fence, towers, Church of the mother of God, Church of the Deity, “Mkurnali” Church, bell tower, octagonal cell, and reservoirs; Continue our drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in color they still keep their own colors even after merging.

The view is beautiful. It's worth getting there. It's the picture everyone takes because the river makes a spectacular curve. And also very breezy and cooler than the city below

It was one of the best experience we had in George the views of green mountain and flowers with running river in between was amazing and we moved from location to another one and we end up on the top of mountain and it was very beautiful and worthy. The road is very small and one lain in each direction. It was challenging come back to Tbilisi as it took us almost 4 hours considering the traffic and have to go all the way from top to bottom of mountain in tiny road with a lot of trucks.
Certainly evocative of the past.

I called and called and called so many times and eventually someone from the travel agency picked up and said they misplaced my booking due to a technical fault. So my booking was cancelled. No email or message prior to this about the tour or even try and reschedule.
What an amazing time!...

What an amazing time! Ilona and her driver were the best hosts and the perfect companions to explore Georgia with. Just enough time to explore the highlights. Added bonus, the road trip home turned into a "magic" disco!

This was my one of the excellent tour in life. This was my second tour with WST and I loved it. Entire trip Was amazing and tour guide Emilia was very good. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and cool. This was really a good experience of this trip with her and I got good knowledge of places visited. No doubt WST has good and well trained staff who knows how to provide a good tour to people and ensure they like country. Love to visit again Tbilisi and have a trip with lovely Emilia.

We took a day trip to Kazbegi and a winery tour the next day. I asked a Japanese-speaking person to be a tour guide, and I was given a detailed explanation of some of the churches I visited, which deepened my understanding of Georgia. And the wonderful scenery at Kazbegi is still vivid in my mind as something I will never forget. I would like to stay here again.
