Experience the World Heritage Kakadu National Park on this interactive day tour from Darwin. On this small group Kakadu day tour, your Offroad Dreaming Guide will interpret for you, the Ancient Artworks at the Ubirr Rock Art Sites, spend time with the Artworks at ground level, or climb to the top to view the 360' lookout over the Wetlands from the Nadab lookout, join the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise on the East Alligator River, to hear about the history and culture of the people and the land and take up their invitation for a step into Arnhem Land, where there will be a cultural demonstration. Your professional guide will take you through the day, sharing with you knowledge and stories as you go.
During March and April, we will revert to our equally in depth wet season itinerary for the Kakadu Day Tour. This will include visiting the Rock Art Galleries at Burrungkuy, Nourlangie Rock, instead of Ubirr and we will take the Yellow Waters Billabong Cruise instead of the Guluyambi Cruise.

An enjoyable, if long, day tour. An early pickup ensured that the schedule was achieved. Our driver, Norm, enabled a friendly and inclusive atmosphere throughout the day. His manner and delivery ensured we had the information needed to make responsible decisions on which portion of the walk to undertake. Norm freely shared his extensive knowledge of Darwin, Kakadu, and First Nation culture. His passionate explanations brought the rock art to life. His rapport with the Traditional Owners was evident, which made the tour more personal and allowed easy conversations. The nutritious and fresh lunch was very welcome after the walk, as were the snacks provided during the return to Darwin. The boat cruise was very good, and the Traditional Owners provided fascinating details on the use of various plants along the riverbank. The spear throwing demonstrations were superb and demonstrated a well practiced skill. A very good day.

A 1st class experience! Neville was an exceptional driver/guide and an absolute wealth of information...we felt very lucky to be in his capable hands for the day. The indigenous Rock Art, the views from the lookout and the Guluyambi cruise (Tyrone was a great guide on our boat) were highlights. A lovely lunch and lots of snacks were provided as well as water refills. For the distance travelled the bus was pretty comfortable and had very good air conditioning… and Neville provided well spaced comfort stops. Amazing sights were visited which made for an absolutely unforgettable day.

What an AMAZING day exploring some of what Kakadu has to offer. Neville, our Guide/Driver was exceptional and a font of information. I learnt so much during the drive and as we walked around the Art Sites. Robby our guide out on the water was so knowledgeable about Country and how he lived as a child. The Crocs up close and personal was awe inspiring. Loved every minute of the day, including the scrumptious lunch and snacks provided Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Off road Dreaming Highly Recommend

Amazing day tour to Kakadu! Loved our guide and loved everything included. Recommend bringing a large water bottle especially if you go during the warmer months. Also a hat or coverup as you are in direct sunlight the whole day. Lots of hiking but I loved every minute of it, especially seeing all of the Indigenous art work on the rocks
