Witness one of Australia’s most spectacular and ancient nature experiences on our tour to Kakadu National Park. Spot numerous species of animals including being able to spot Saltwater Crocodiles from the Cahills Crossing lookout! Join a guided walk through World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park to witness the 20,000 some years of rock art and spectacular scenery from Ubirr rock.

For an additional cost you can also add in an optional "Jumping Crocodile Cruise" (option KDC-B).

Limited storage space on our vehicle, baggage kept to 1 x 5-7kg day bag per person.

Child fare prices apply from 6 to 12 years old. This tour is not suitable for children 5 years old and under, due to the nature and walking involved.

We leave tropical Darwin travelling through the rich floodplains towards Kakadu National Park, this 20,000 square kilometre area teeming with wildlife, important Aboriginal rock art sites, and diverse landscapes.

Adelaide River

Our first stop of the day is an optional Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River or a visit to the Fogg Dam Conservation Centre. The traditional lands of the Limilngan-Wulna people (who are active in the reserve's management) are one of the most spectacular places to explore the diverse wildlife of the Top End, home to numerous species of birds, turtles, water pythons and of course the iconic Saltwater Crocodile.

Terrific tour, really interesting day. Tim our guide had an amazing knowledge of the area and the local indigenous culture and did a great job sharing his knowledge with us. Highly recommended.

We visited Kakadu and Fogg dam today with Tim. We had a wonderful time. Tim was a fantastic guide who was very knowledgeable and it’s clear Tim loves his job and the places we went to.

Very long travel time and very limited time in Kakadu

The itinerary involves a very long drive for very little time in Kakadu itself. The jumping crocodile experience at the start was enjoyable but took up time that could be better spent in the park. Much of the day was then taken up with long stretches of driving, multiple toilet breaks and time at the Kakadu sign and cultural centre, which didn’t add to the overall experience. Streamlining these would allow for more meaningful time in the park. The timing also worked against the experience: we reached the rock art site at the hottest part of the day, meaning that several people chose not to do the walk. The artwork was genuinely fascinating and the guide (Tim) was excellent, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the area. However, spending around 13 hours on a bus for a very short walk doesn’t feel worthwhile and missing Cahill’s Crossing was disappointing. The bus itself was also cramped and uncomfortable. Having done Kakadu tours in the past, the contrast was clear. This trip felt limited and didn’t do justice to such a remarkable place.

Was a lot of sitting gor long times on the bus. If you want to take photos it's impossible while the coach is moving. Fogg Dam was ok, i would do the crocodile cruise. The walk to the aboriginal drawings in Kakadu National Park was wonderful. You were on a time restraint so it felt rushed even though it was a long day.
Nice experience. Highly recommended.

This was fantastic! Dani was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tourguide. She shard value inforn on plants, wie, and the his and culture of the abori es. The Fogg was full of unusual and gorgs birdlife.
