We'll meet you at 10:30 AM at the Giant Bicycle Monument near the Radisson Blu Hotel. Start your Kakheti wine region journey with a visit to the Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking warehouse, where you’ll taste local wines and brandy and can buy your favorites. Next, visit Bodbe Monastery, a peaceful spiritual site that houses the relics of St. Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia. Then continue to Sighnaghi, the picturesque “City of Love,” with stunning views of the Alazani Valley and the Great Caucasus Mountains. Walk its charming streets and explore the Sighnaghi Wall, one of the longest in the world. End the day at a local wine cellar, where you’ll learn about Georgia’s traditional winemaking methods and enjoy warm hospitality. A perfect blend of culture, history, and flavor!

Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking Factory (Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking” is one of the largest wine and spirits producing companies in Georgia and the Caucasus region. Established in 2001, KTW produces wine, brandy, sparkling wine, and chacha with traditional Georgian techniques mixed with the state of art technologies. This allows the company to preserve an old, unique taste of wine and create its own signature style to spread to the world. We will have the possibility to visit the wine factory and try 5 types of Georgian wine and 10 years of Brandy. Advice: •Take your bottle of water to drink it between wine tasting. •In a wine factory can be low temperature so take your jackets. •Chkhaveri – White Dry Wine. KTW’s signature wine “Chkhaveri” dates back to 1880 to the village Askana, where wine-maker Antimoz Chkhaidze founded one of the most prominent wine cellars of that period. He used unique grapes in that region and made a brand new wine type. He named it: “Chkhaveri”.

5.00I came to Tbilisi just for this wine tour — and it ended up being the best decision. Our group had eight wonderful people from all around the world, and we enjoyed amazing wine, chacha, and visits to the beautiful St. Nino Cathedral and the small but cozy town of Signagi. Our guide, Maddy, shared so much about Georgian wine and culture, and her warmth made the whole experience even better. Even though I was traveling alone, I felt completely at ease, and I could tell everyone else felt the same. She mentioned that the day after our tour was her wedding anniversary — happy anniversary again, Maddy! Wishing you lots of happiness and good health. (from Bo!) I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tbilisi — you’ll love it.

5.00Such an awesome tour and the guide, Misho, was amazing !!! He was so personable and made sure everyone felt welcome and involved. Tried so many delicious wines. The only feedback I could give is to have 5 more minutes in Signani bc it was such a cute village.

5.00What a fabulous day we had. Misho Our guide for the day was charming, funny and had a great knowledge of wine. The day ran smoothly. I would highly recommend this tour. The wines tasted very good even the reds… I usually don’t like… so much so we brought some! Thank you Misho and our fellow day trippers for an enjoyable day.

5.00A beautiful, lovely experience with Madi, she was so kind and fun and informative, giving us the flexibility to explore, enjoy, and of course drink!! Could not have asked for a more attentive tour guide. Driver was best I've ever seen, perfectly smooth on some crazy roads. The wines delicious, the times unforgettable ❤️

5.00We had a wonderful experience on our tour with Sofya in the Kakheti region. She guided us through both a commercial winery and a small family-run producer in Sighnaghi, where we enjoyed memorable tastings of local wines and the traditional Georgian brandy, Chacha. We also visited the beautiful monastery in Bodbe, which added a peaceful and culturally rich dimension to the day. Sofya’s deep knowledge of Kakheti’s winemaking traditions gave us a rich understanding of the region’s history and craft. Beyond the wineries, she went above and beyond by offering excellent recommendations on Georgian cuisine and providing a thoughtful list of restaurants in Tbilisi that we truly enjoyed. Her warmth, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm made the entire day exceptional. We can’t recommend Sofya highly enough!

5.00We joined the Kakheti wine tour as a couple with our 7-year-old daughter, and our guide Madi was absolutely outstanding. As professional tourist guides from Turkey — both my wife and I have been guiding for many years and also run our own travel agency — we can confidently say that Madi is truly born for this job. From the very beginning, she created an incredibly warm, engaging atmosphere. She made sure that everyone in the group connected with each other, encouraged conversations, and kept the group dynamic lively and positive throughout the day. This level of social awareness and group management is something you cannot teach — it’s pure natural talent. Her explanations were clear, informative, and full of interesting insights about Kakheti, Georgian culture, and wine traditions. At the same time, she was genuinely kind, patient, and attentive, especially towards our daughter, which we appreciated a lot as a traveling family. In our professional opinion, Madi is a major asset to the company — someone who elevates the entire experience. We sincerely thank her for making our day in Kakheti unforgettable.
