Tour Itinerary • We will pick you up from the hotel in Kandy in the morning and transfer you to Sigiriya. • On the way, we will be visiting the Matale Hindu temple, where you will explore the temple for half an hour. • Next we will stop for a Ayurvedic Village, where you will sight see and discover the village for an hour. • We will continue our journey to Dambulla and will be stopping for a taste of fresh corn and King coconut • We will then climb the Dambulla Cave Temple. • Next we will drive to Sigiriya and once reaching there, we will stop to have your Lunch at a recommended restaurant • We will then proceed to a Jeep Safari to enjoy the national park • Afterwards, we will drive you back to Kandy and drop you off at the hotel / any location nearby, confirming the end of this tour.

Lakshan coordinated everything with precision, he keeps us company with engaging and historical stories. One unforgettable experience was a visit to a remote tea estate where we had a private tour and tasting. For a journey that goes beyond the usual tourist spots, Lanka Safe Tours is the best choice.

5.00We had an excellent day on this tour. The cultural sites are stunning and we saw loads of elephants on the safari. The tour is flexible and we stopped at a wood carving place which we really enjoyed. One tip - the lunch was not very nice, as it is not included and it is a long day, I would recommend bringing a packed lunch to eat whilst travelling.

5.00Dinesh was really warm, friendly and flexible. We had an infant baby along with us which required changes in travel plan / adjustments / stops in an unplanned manner. But he was always very accommodating with a smile!! Reasonably priced and great service!! What more can you ask for!!! 😊😊

5.00The tour was excellent! Our tour guide Dinesh showed us everything possible. The car was very nice, and also the safari jeep was great and we saw a lot of elephants :) I recommend it to everyone!

5.00This tour is great if you want to see a lot in one day. It’s long but worth it. We had a quick tour of a Hindu temple, a great Spice Garden tour, then on to Dambulla, Sigirya, lunch (which was excellent) and finally a several hour safari where we saw lots of elephants. Dinesh was on time, a good driver, flexible, accommodating and all the parts of the tour went great. One tip would be to let Dinesh know what you are interested in or not as we skipped a handicraft place as we wanted more time in the other places. He was very flexible. Another tip would be that you have the option to walk up Sigirya (3 hrs) or just have a tour of the grounds getting some background (around an hour). This is what we did and it was plenty especially given the heat and the large cues of people climbing. In summary we enjoyed our day and would recommend Dinesh’s company and this tour!

5.00We were picked up on time at 7am and first made a short stop at a Hindu temple. Next we stopped at an Ayurvedic herb garden where we were offered a very detailed tour by a German-speaking guide. Afterwards we went to Dambulla where we could visit the Royal Cave Temple and then on to Sigiriya to Lion Rock. There was extremely busy seasonally, but our guide knew a few shortcuts to get around most of the tourist queues and although we ultimately gave up climbing to the top, we already had a breathtaking view halfway up. For lunch we were taken to a nice restaurant where there was a delicious buffet at a reasonable price. Finally, we had the safari tour in a jeep through Minneriya National Park, where we could admire not only the elephants but also an incredibly beautiful landscape at setting sun. Dinesh, our guide and driver was very warm and helpful and offered us a guided tour to Nuwara Eliya the following day and a reasonably priced offer for the ride from Kandy to Galle on our departure day. We would definitely book Dinesh again and highly recommend him.

5.00It was a great day, everything went as planned it was flawless! Dinesh is really friendly, we visited 2 temples with him and a spice market where he makes them themselves with a person who spoke really good French. Sigiriya’s visit was very impressive with another French speaking guide. It was just perfect!! In the afternoon we visited the safari, the rain was there but Dinesh and his colleague did everything so that we could still see the elephants, a beautiful gesture. Despite the 3 hour drive back Dinesh did not hesitate a second to take us to a great restaurant (not included), and it made us very happy. Back at 9am pm without hindrance Images full of eyes immortalized by many photos, an incomparable feeling of well-being, we recommend to everyone this extraordinary excursion ❤️ Marsou and Alex:)

5.00This was one of the best days Ive had on my trip to Sri Lanka! It's jammed packed full of activities and you'll feel like you spent 3 days doing it all. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get the most out of their Safari day. We saw beautiful wild animals, historical sites and mind blowing temples.
