Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
Sigiriya or Sinhagiri is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres high.

Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 kilometres east of Colombo and 72 kilometres north of Kandy. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

5.00....my trip to Sri Lanka ...TOP... we left with only concern for the weather that according to many we entered the rainy period but in all our stay the weather was perfect it rained little , optimal temperature to walk and visit everything without stress and tourists like us very few ... hotels we always chose 4 stars with great prices , clean spacious and comfortable rooms , great food with breakfast if Sinhalese that European ... supermarkets stocked with everything ... only bad thing and that you must always have the tip ready that after a while 'becomes stressful because every move you make and tip ... ovunge ... the sim card for 2 weeks we bought for 20 dollars at the airport just arrived and also with the change we used ATMs ... whereas we always ate out the thick per day for food was 7/8 euros with drinks ... .. ..at the airport of arrival I recommend to do before the entry visa avoid a huge line for checks and it's all very, very slow... Hello Sri Lanka it was a beautiful trip ...

5.00Wonderful experience. Wasa our tour guide/private driver was reliable and shows great skills with working with tourist. The Safari tour was good with lots of elephants to see. Best part of the tour for me was Sigiriya rock climbing because the architectural/panoramic view is breathtaking and also you are able to challenge yourself during the climbing. If you able to climb all the way to the rock you have a strong heart and very good legs. Visit to spice garden was also fun with short massage. Amazing experience! We will do it again.

5.00An unforgettable experience. The Safari in Minneriya National Park exceeded our expectations. A large number of elephants of all ages, from a baby with its mother, teenage females and males, to a large male elephant. The Sigiriya temple with the imposing stone of the Lion or ancestral, is a unique experience. Finally, close with a visit to an impressive Buddhist temple. Very good service from our guide Wasa. Fully recommended. We hired this great experience in Mexico with LoomTravel. Experts in unique and unforgettable moments.

5.00A great world heritage site and wildlife park. The structure and the landscape was amazing. Great urban design which we can’t see anywhere in the world. The driver was very knowledgeable to explain much about Sigiriya and caves. Keep cash for entrance.

5.00so wonderful cuz we got see everything that we wanted to see. The sigirya rock and the dambulla cave both were wholesome places, but the main highlight us the safari, elephants were everywhere and of course other animals. the trip was amazingly beautiful and lovely.

5.00I had his our for myself, and I was very pleased with the service they offered. Te sigiriya Rock was amazing and it is not tiring at all, the safari was very astonishing, I got to see many animals, which is the main reason for the safari and the Dambulla Cave temple is also very interesting and holds a large history of it. This may be the besttour ever.

5.00If you’re visiting srilanka and are limited in time then this is the best tour for you as it was for us and we just wanted to visit sigiriya , but this 3 in 1 option is a great value for what you paid. We started the tour directly from the airport and driver was there for pickup. Had breakfast on the way to sigiriya and was great. This was our first tour in Sri Lanka and I want to say there are very kind and friendly. The safari tour is another step we had and there were many wild elephants. Really enjoyed the trip from start to end, our driver Wasa took us all the places with managing the times as we need to back airport by 9.00 pm. Overall great experience and probably we do come back for a long journey. Would like to thanks Janaka for supporting us on every corner to arrange this trip.
